Avert water damage
Very easy to set up with the X Sense app. Pairing was also easy with custom naming of protection area,if the long pre list was not adequate. Tested the unit by dropping a few drops of water and got instant notification on the device, Hub and app. You also get an email to notify you. Brilliant. Best was that ,I had just fitted a new tap under sink and got an instant alert there was a leak. So it worked !!! Alarm alerts are loud another to be heard ,even when sleeping. Great value for the price point and peace of mind

Peace of mind like no other before - product is simple but a totoal game changer!
I think the cost of the product vs the cost of water damage it just simply a no brainer, this product is EXCELLENT! good solid build quality and tested every sensor which worked first time..I extended the count of sensors to hub by 4 - however would be cool to know the max limit of sensors to a hub....The only down side is that I read the sensors have a life span of 5 years after which need to be replaced however for £13 each (current price) its still cheap in comaprison to being unaware your home is being damaged by water which can be waaay more expensive than spending a bit of hard earned money on these, alerted by these devices and turning off your water...then get it fixed...Absloutley amazing! And idea for future R&D would be to design a stop cock electric valve that can shut off your main water supply in the event a water leak is triggered (with optional configuration surrounding how you want the electionc valce to behave...and leave those options to the user)Just abig thank you to the person(s) that developed such a good product for the cost

X-Sense water alert system.
Product was straightforward to install on WiFi, included one base station (mains) and three water detectors (battery). You do need to download their app from Google/Apple to your mobile phone to use remotely, so you would need a data connection. The app allows you to monitor your system for signal and battery strength, allows tests and will notify you of any flooding. We have a basement outside under our garage which can flood, where I placed two detectors and they reported full signal strength with the base station inside our house, and tested successfully.

Seem to work - app seems effective
Thankfully haven’t had a need to see they work or not but have 3 throughout the house. A perfect app where you can label each sensor for the area in which they are located. It’s great to have a sense of security with these. Good value for money and quite small so not taking up a lot of space. Great product.

Very good item - works perfect
Very satisfied with the product quality. It works excellent with no fuss & the sound emitted is very loud & can also be adjusted if needed. I "forced" a leak to check how it worked over a day and it was outstanding.

All three do not work
I don't normally write reviews, but all of these water sensors do not work.I bought 3 more sensors to add to an existing 3 water sensor and hub. When I took the sensors out of the box a sticker was on them saying to long press the pairing button (to wake up the sensor) and the double tap the same button to start pairing. When double tapping - it just made 3 test beeps and that's it, and impossible to pair any.All three were duds.I took the risk on buying another hub + 3 sensors as a kit. I didn't use the extra hub and all 3 paired fine to the original hub. I now have 6 working sensors.Interestingly none of them had the sticker on them to tell me to long press the pairing up to wake it up.There is definitely a problem with the 3 new ones.I have returned them to Amazon because, I wrote to the manufacturer - who did not reply.

How to have alerts to more than one phone.
Bought two water detectors and these were easy to add to the fire alarm system that I have with the base station. The water detectors are only a few pounds each so good value. Have one by dishwasher and one by washing machine as these have the flexible hose and are the most vulnerable parts of water system. Gives peace of mind; especially as the excess on house insurance for water damage is so high now. The alarms notify the phones if a problem and the base station sounds too. Easy to set up just follow the step by step instructions.Tested the detector with a little puddle of water and it quickly and loudly went off – base station sounds too, and phones notified. The manual does not tell you how to link two phones to system. You cannot both use the same account and password as it will automatically log out one phone. After a bit of searching found a post on the internet and set up two accounts that are linked so now both my and wife’s phone get the alerts. This is what I found on the net, “You can't both use the same login. Go into the app and select device sharing then send an invite to the email of the person you want to share with. They will need to create their own login. They will then have access to the smoke alarms. Hope this helps. By TechHead in the United Kingdom on 03 April 2024." On my system – go to the base station settings, then “Device Sharing”; click to put a tick against the items you want to share and enter email address of person you want to share with. They will get the email and it’s just a case of follow the instructions to set up their account which will link to the base station and once they download the app and log in both phones will then get notifications.
