This balm is perfect for removing makeup and cleansing. Doesn't sting my eyes, is very effective and my skin feel amazing afterwards. I'm 52 with very dry skin. It lasts a while, too. You don't need a lot.

I love this product. It’s a step above Elemis. It leaves my skin feeling clean and not dry. I highly recommend this product.

Babor Hyaluronic Cleansing Balm works really well! It comes in a plastic screw top jar. The jar's threading is a bit annoying and clunky, which is unfortunate for this price point. It comes with a little scoop that I promptly lost, and a little black velour cloth.This balm has very little scent, which is great for those with perfume allergies. Texture wise, it's a solid lump that has some watery sweat. It scoops out like a lumpy butter. There is some lumpy texture when used on the skin, but it's not quite exfoliating. But it is kind of like a butter/oil cleanser as it melts on the skin and removes makeup.With a full face of makeup it gets 95% of it - I just have a bit of waterproof eyeliner tips but those come off when I wipe my face. I got in with toner and there is no makeup residue left! I barely used a pea sized amount.After use, my skin feels pretty moisturized and ultra soft. It's not stripped at all, but also not oily. First few times I followed up with a 2nd cleanser, but it wasn't really needed.That said, I really enjoyed Babor Hyaluronic Cleansing Balm. This tub will last a while, a lot longer than my other oil cleansers so the price point isn't that terrible.

I really like this cleansing balm. Unlike others I have tried this leaves no residue behind, no slick feel, no greasy appearance. My skin feels so clean and toned after using this, but not tight or dry.The cloth provided is amazing. It doesn't feel like much in my hand, but when wet, it feels almost spongy (not abrasive) on my skin - like it s really getting into my pores and fine lines and making sure every trace of makeup or dirt is completely washed away.The cleanser itself is very easy to remove; some seem to take forever to wash off, but not this one. My skin feels soft and ready to absorb my hydrating products after washing with this. The scoop provided looks far too small, but that really is all the product I need to remove my makeup.The formula is unscented and works well for both men and women.

This is a semi-solid oil-based cleanser. I love these for their ability to clean my skin without drying, and this one is no exception. The jar is huge and priced favorably in comparison to other cleansers of this type. Included in the box is a tiny scoop as well as a nicely wrapped mini-washcloth to use in combination with this cleanser. I was not a fan of the washcloth, which is 100% polyester, and will be using a cotton muslin washcloth I already own.The cleanser softens and melts with the heat of your body into a spreadable consistency, and this one contains small beads that provide a gentle exfoliating effect. Per the instructions I got with a different but similar cleanser, I wet the washcloth with hot water and pressed it to my face first to open pores before proceeding with the cleanser itself. My skin was soft and clean when finished, with not a hint of dryness. Fantastic!The jar will last a long time since you need so little at any one time. It does have a slight scent.

Babor is a renowned, premium skincare brand from Germany. You can find their line at high-end spas and department stores. I'm familiar with the brand from buying some of their products from Nordstrom. This cleansing balm reminds me of my Eve Lom cleansing balm. This is a great 1st cleanse to remove stubborn and occlusive sunscreens/foundation/make-up.To use it, I scooped out a small amount with the spatula they provide, about the size of a small pea. This melts into a silky slip on my skin and I used the washcloth they provide to sweep away the product. I pre-laundered the wash cloth, and when using it, I had the towel moistened and at hot temp water to make it nice and steamy when using it. If your skin is on the normal to dry side, you don't need a second cleanser as this leaves your skin glowy, hydrated and soft. I have an oiler skin type and prefer a refreshing/squeaky clean feel after cleansing, so I use my facial gel cleanser after this balm to sweep away additional oils.This balm feels luxurious using it and performs beautifully.
