One of the items for which people are tested for their intelligence is the IQ test which, among much else, asks about shapes. IQ aside, being able to recognize various shapes is essential in life. It is necessary to know shapes to understand what one is seeing.In this book, children learn not only about the various shapes by looking at fun shaped characters and several other items with the shape from daily life, they also learn about two and three dimensional items, and they learn new words like direction, crescent, croissant, and semicircle.

He loves this book. It has definitely helped with shape recognition and seeing the 3d shapes are great.

Good color & shapes

Little kids loving learning about shapes with these cute illustrations! This author has several little kids books that are all well illustrated, easy and colorful!

This one is great, my son loves it. If you guys could make it hardcover, it would be even better.
