This is such a great product! The things I am looking for are: sunscreen , nontoxic ingredients and NOT MINT bc that makes lips more chapped. This pack of three was a great price and all the flavors are yummy. No yucky aftertaste either.

I really like each of these lip balms in the set! They all apply nicely and have very pleasant scents! My favorite of these is definitely the tropic like it's hot scent so far. My lips do look slightly paler after applying each lip balm but it's not too noticeable and I would not quite call it a white cast like I've seen some on here have. I do look forward to using each of these on my cruise this summer!

The flavors are great and the formula is pleasant. I noticed that they do leave a bit of a white cast on your lips if you over-apply so i try to remind myself to go easy with these. The “Tropic like it’s hot” flavor was quite a surprise. It was much spicier than I’ve probably ever had a simple lip balm be. I am not sure if it had a plumping effect, or if the spice was just for fun, since I used it while camping.

Don't panic at first like I did that EXP is month/day, it's month/year 😄.That said, taking off 1 point because manufacturer states these are given a 3-year expiry date from the month of manufacture, which means these are 2 years old. More a comment on the seller than than the product though.I've definitely had regular sticks I've used past expiration before, but the EXP here means the SPF factor could be unreliable after that, which I can't afford to risk, so they'll have to be dumped and replaced in December.Quality seems typical of Burt's, which I've always found fine.These are all white, no colors, and there may be an initial whitecast (honestly pretty unavoidable to one degree or another with the mineral sunscreens) but this one doesn't seem bad to me and it should sink in after some minutes, no matter what your mileage or skin tone may be.Tropic Like It's Hot is Piña Colada I think? 🍍 Is very dominant.Coco Loco is coconut with something fruity in it that I can't identify. 🍍 again? More 🥥 than Tropic. Maybe this is the Piña Colada, and Tropic is just pineapple?Beaches & Cream I expected to have 🍑, but I don't detect any. It smells more like a sweet, warm, creamy natural oil sunscreen/tanning lotion. Still getting a lot of 🥥. Touch of chocolate maybe? Some darker note there underneath. Very beachy and pleasant. Also tastes much better than lotion 😉.Overall these seem like they'll be perfect. AI Rufus claims the item description says these are waterproof up to 80 minutes, which was the only thing holding me back. Taking his word for now because I didn't personally see that anywhere on the packaging or descriptions. If it turns out to be one that comes off in sweating, rain or full water immersion, I'll have to look at an alternative, like Headhunter. I feel like the wax in these should be pretty waterproof though too, logically... Also might need need to switch to a higher mineral SPF for summer thoughsummer outdoor sun activities and full water immersion.

I am pleased with the set of lip balm. Living in Las Vegas we have lots of sunshine and take steps to protect our skin as much as we can.This lip balm was a nice surprise. The scents are very pleasant, the balm stays put for a decent amount of time. We haven't found it to whiten our lips at all. Stays sheer for us. Its a little thicker feeling due to the mineral additive for blocking the sunlight, but it's not unpleasant at all. I'd buy it again!

I’ve read the critical reviews, but I did not experience the bad results described there. These balms do not turn my lips white. It looks like I have clear balm on my lips, maybe a lighter color than my lips but definitely not noticeable. I would maybe say iridescent like some lipsticks’ colors. I have tinted BB balms that I apply over these balms so it wouldn’t be an issue even if these balms did turn my lips white (which they don’t). They are creamy and feel good on your lips when you rub your lips together. They do not have a bad taste or really any taste at all. I’m very happy to have taken a chance on these balms with sunscreen and wear it everyday. My lips look much healthier. I recommend these balms with sunscreen.

This is the only SPF lip gloss that I've found that doesn't have a lot of chemicals in it. I've had a minor skin cancer taken off my chin, so I am careful what I put on my body now. The good news is that Burt's Bees lip balm stays on to stay protective -- it doesn't come right off. The bad news is that it is sort of white. I have to put lipstick over it so my lips don't look like Dracula. A small price to pay for the good protrection. I still give it five stars.

So these work well for hydration just like all burts bees, but keep in mind that SPF is definitely the primary focus here. They leave a very thick white residue on your lips, all 3 scents. It literally looks like you put a thick layer of sunscreen on your lips. I still like them but they are definitely more for an outdoors day like sitting in the sun nonstop, they’re not for everyday use. I don’t want white residue all over my lips when I’m talking to people at work lol.
