Most of the competition includes the Anderson connectors for your wires you are connecting to the dc to dc charger. I was not able to source them local so had to oder them and it delayed my install

This is a second time purchase.Good device for charging dc to dc.

The build quality is good. Metal case, Anderson plugs for connection easy to install.However you get what you pay for. I installed this in an vehicle with regular (not smart) alternator and a 12v 100w solar panel connected to a lifepo battery about as basic as you can go.The solar controller has a hard time locking on and start charging even in decent conditions, a cheap renogy pvm does a better job. The unit stopped working altogether after 18 months (both dc to DC and solar) out of warranty and not worth fixing. Replaced with Victron DC to DC Charger and a renogy pvm I still had and much better performance.

Overall I am pleased with this charger.It has a good weight to it and a good overall feel.The plugs are sized properly and fit like they should, there is no play but they are not impossible to remove.I have had items with miss sized plugs in the past and they can be a real pain in the butt.I would buy again.5 STARS
