My husband who is a cabinet maker to trade always tries to use Squire padlocks. As this was to protect our fuel from being stolen thought it was a great idea. Well constructed and easy to use.

I purchased two Squire combination padlock thinking that the quality would be good. What a disappointment they were very poor quality and one number reel on a lock won't even turn! I would think that they might last six months of I'm lucky, not even going to use them I've bought 2 master combination locks instead cheaper and far better quality, won't be buying Squire locks anytime soon they are just trading on their name.RUBBISH.

This is a tough lock and feels solid and should last through the winter - but time will tell .Had all sorts of weather so far and no problems - would definitely buy this lock again if I needed another one .

Used as an outside shed padlock. Works well, feels sturdy and solid and easy to use.

Bought to secure a shed to which multiple people needed access, a combination padlock seemed like an ideal solution. This was from a well-known brand and was labelled as weatherproof. Setting the new code is easy enough using the tool supplied (or a paperclip if you lose it). The challenge is in actually managing to line up the combination wheels on'ce the lock is in use. The wheels themselves are virtually smoot, providing very little purchase to turn them and requiring a surprising degree of precision to line them up. WE'll see how it goes, but I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up getting replaced for another brand that's a bit more use-friendly. At the asking price (~£15) it's not as good as it should be.

Works well, easy to open, lock etc. Stands well in the weather also. Good all round small padlock, ideal for sheds, storage, boxes etc

This lock looks the business but is terrible. The number cylinders are hard to turn especially in wet conditions. At least perseverance will get you to open it if it wasn't for the fact that the dials have trouble lining up properly. It worked for a while and then I have loads of trouble opening it. Several people tried to no avail. Its a know fault and all the tips and tricks did not work. Angle grinder and club hammer was the only way.

Ha funzionato correttamente e con grande soddisfazione per una decina di volte, ieri non ha più voluto aprirsi e ho dovuto romperlo per aprire. Il pulsante di rilascio faceva il "click" ma l'archetto restava chiuso, ho tentato più volte di riallineare i numeri, ma dopo 20 minuti mi sono arreso e l'ho forzato. Non mi aspettavo una tale delusione da parte di uno dei , IMHO, produttori di lucchetti più prestigiosi.

This is a small but very functioonal lock. I use it to secure the D ring of my motorcyle helmet on to the brake lever. Keeps the hemet from touching any paint on my bike.

Macht einen guten Eindruck im Punkt Sicherheit. Die Zahlen einstellen ist nicht einfach. Nicht für dicke Finger.
