Q: possible to have spare parts for metal fittings? one just broke.

Hi, I had a wooden one but no longer have it. Mine needed spare parts and I found some spare parts but ultimately gave up, (as it broke again) and bought the plastic one that I have had for 8 months so far, with no problems.

Q: has this seat got the screws showing not plastic pods where it rests on the bowl I am looking for one where the screws are bvious as the pods bereak

The seat has 5 long white plastic bars about 2" long each with two recessed screws in, one at each end. These bars are spaced around underside of seat. The plastic is quite robust but not brittle so I don't imagine they will break easily. They are not the flimsy little round plastic things that I have seen on some seats.

Q: NEED a spanner for this , can anyone recommend what size , please

I'm sorry I don't know - used an adjustable one. I'm wondering however why Amazon is brokering this question when they refused to respond to my complaint about this product and its supplier? You may well need to buy another bolt and screw - mine snapped within weeks of purchase
