Roger&Gallet Rose Eau Fraîche 30Ml

My favourite shower gel and soap brand is Roger&Gallet and I was glad to try its perfume. It comes in a lovely clear bottle of good size and shape. Easy to carry in your handbag for every day use or travelling. The scent is sweet rose but with a little sharpness to counter it. Great for summer. I prefer warm scent for colder days.

I got 2 of this brand in different scents and the same review essentially applies to both. They are both a very nice, light, flowery scent but unfortunately doesn’t last long enough to be an all dayer spray. However the bottles are a really good size, shape and thickness to have in a handbag without taking up loads of room or being worried about it getting knocked etc. It’s perfect for having out and about fora quick spritz and freshen up.

This perfume comes in a small 30ml bottle. It’s has a sweet, rose scent, I find it a bit too strong for myself.Also the scent doesn’t last for very long.

At the beginning, this fragrance unveils a delightful combination of light, silky fresh rose and sweet mandarin notes. As it develops, a brighter floral scent of peppery and watery rose-like peony emerges.Gradually, it settles into a comforting blend of warm almond and amber, creating a truly blissful aroma.In my opinion, this fragrance can be best described as gentle, demure, and refined.The projection and sillage of this perfume are quite low. Upon reaching its full dry-down, it becomes a subtle skin scent. Personally, I prefer this aspect, as it allows me to enjoy the fragrance without overwhelming those around me. However, its longevity is rather disappointing, lasting only around 1-2 hours.Therefore, I find it most suitable as a soothing bedtime perfume, given its shy and non-intrusive nature.On a positive note, the fragrance is pleasant without being overly sweet, powdery, or cloying.

It’s always difficult to describe ascent in the written word, but this initially comes across as a very gentle rolls (not too heavy) and gives way to something citrussy. it is rather light and delicate and lacks the punch other more established brand names, but it is very nice nonetheless. Little expensive at £20 for 30 ml especially considering it would need reapplying if you wanted to maintain the fragrance all day long.
