Good choice for truffle 🧂

I mainly taste just salt.I've tried both plain and on several dishes. I haven't noticed much difference from regular salt until I catch a dark flake. Those have a slight taste like truffles. So the flavor is there, but not consistently or very strong. Good if you want very subtle, but I could do with a more distinct taste to justify healthwise using more salt.

Our household prefers natural, unrefined salt to traditional table salt—it is less processed and crystals are a bit larger. The addition of truffles in this blend takes flavor to a higher level; we like it best on meat or fish dishes, but it’s great as an all-purpose seasoning salt too. I especially like the split-cap top, which sprinkles and pours. When closed, the cap creates a tight seal that keeps out humidity. There are only two ingredients in this; grey salt from Guerande (France) and truffles. This blend has a nice earthy overtone, and adds the perfect depth of flavor to many foods.

Unfortunately, this product doesn't live up to its name. No truffle flavor at all.It also showed up and the salt was wet...not really able to shake it out of container.It comes out as a glob of salt and that's not helpful when adding to dishes or when using at the table.Very disappointed!!!It's also unreturnable, so all I can do is complain and pay my bill at the end of the month for $10.00 sea salt!!!

It's hard to distinguish between regular salt and this salt other than there are some dark flakes in it. Of course you could use a lot but then it's salt so that's not good for you. It's ok.

I've been using truffle oil for a while, and have found that it always tends to be very overpowering if I'm not careful. I love using this salt instead of the oil in many cases because the flavor is much more subtle, but still has the same wonderful scent. My husband doesn't care for truffle everything, so this salt is really the perfect compromise. I can salt my food and add that wonderful scent and light flavor of black truffle and he can just use regular old salt. This isn't a heavy dose of truffle, but rather salt with truffle overtones. Really a great product.

Taste like plan table salt, Definitely not worth the price
