Very high quality and easy to assemble

This really surprised me. I never bought furniture on amazon before and I was hesitant about the quality and the sturdiness for the price, but it really surprised me. Great looks, exactly the style I needed and perfect size. Totally recommend it.

I ordered the bedside table in the mid-century modern teak finish. I am very pleased and wish it were possible to assign more than a five-star rating. The piece is exactly as shown in the online image. It is truly beautiful, and it is very well made with attention to detail. The construction consists of solid, butcher block, Acacia tree wood, a true treasure. So often, furniture pieces consist of sloppily glued veneers and worse. Not so with this nightstand. The stain is gorgeous, and the entire piece is the perfect complement to my Danish-Modern, MCM furnishings. My order arrived very quickly and in perfect condition, another rarity given my frequent experience of receiving damaged furniture and appliances that have to be exchanged multiple times. The packaging was impeccably done and included double boxing, triple-layer corner protectors, Styrofoam-style edge protectors, foam sheet wrapping, and a lovely note of customer appreciation. Assembly was easy as pie. I merely unwrapped the legs and attached them to the furniture. No extra tools were needed, because everything was included with the table (i.e., screws, washers, and Allen wrench). An extra screw, washer, and bottom leg protector were included too. Imagine that!

Solid wood. I cannot believe the quality and the cost. I bought the whole living room set because it was that good! I get so many compliments on how pretty the pieces are. Arrived very well packaged to avoid and damage. All the pieces are quality and easy to put together. Decent drawer storage.

Hands down this is one of the best made pieces of furniture I have purchased on Amazon. I am going to buy more from this maker. It is also an extremely solid piece.

First it is not 100% solid wood. The Bottom, and back are manufactured wood products, aka Particleboard and Hardboard. Part of the drawer face is solid stocks laminated to MDF core, then to a Solid stock drawer frame. Hard to tell if the top and sides are veneers or solid stocks.Second the cap screws to attach the legs have only 3 threads of engagement. Do not use a drill or impact driver to attach the legs, you will strip the 3 threads of engagement.Assembly is easy with the provided hardware as long as you only tighten the cap screws wrist tight. With the manufactured in 3 threads of engagement it does not take much torque to strip the threads.The cap screws should be 5 to 6 millimeters longer for proper engagement. Even with hand tightening carefully I stripped 2 of the screws with little effort because the screws are Grade 2 alloy(soft) instead of Grade 5 alloy(Common). The screws are not machined very well, Lose tolerances as the wobble quite a bit when engaged with the receiving insert.The Lacquer? finish is uneven with holidays manufactured in. The Edges of the drawer face are rough sawn and not properly sanded. Not smooth to the touch at all they will be dust collectors because of it.Otherwise they are packaged well, double boxed, and surrounded by open cell Styrofoam for a good cushion.They pretty look good for the price if you can over look the above, I will report back if I remember to of the durability of the finish in about a year.
