Positives: good for price. Real wood counter top, trash can concealment and extra storage, good quality wheels, leaf hinges are high quality.Negatives: tip-over hazard if you lean on leaf without weighty items in storage, had to cut some materials with my circular saw, poor CAD drawings made assembly difficult, screws that hold leaf are small and drilled into MDF and would easily tear out if too much weight is applied to leaf. Over all the MDF is not bad but I wouldn't expect it to hold up more than a few years

my only complaint is that it took about 5-6 hours to put together, maybe i was just moving slow after work but there’s a lot of pieces to assemble. it’s not hard just more time consuming than i was expecting compared to other furniture i have built. my only actual complaint about the assembly is putting in the top back panel prevents you from tightening some screws, but if you tighten the screws first then you can’t fit the back panel. i left the screws alone & so far you can’t tell so seems okay i guess. it’s cute & is fulfilling its purpose

Not worth the money. Predrilled holes were not lined up properly in many spots. Hinge placement spots are not cut out right. The drop down top is warped. It seems very unstable like it will tip over. It looks very cheap. I would give zero stars if I could. Handles are plastic not metal. I should get a refund.

This product is a game changer for someone with no island at all. It is very sturdy and can be moved whenever I need to clean under it, or simply move it places. The tilt out cabinet for a 10-gallon trash can is very useful right by the stove and prep area for quick trash throw aways. Overall a great product!

I love the way this island looks, but 2 days after it was built, the trash can drawer ripped from the door.

First the good.... Great instructions and extra fasteners to put it together. Extra star just for that. Looks good from 6 feet or more. Seems like the storage will fit a good amount of items and will be easy to move for cleaning with 5 quality wheels. Will be a couple of extra spots to eat in a pinch, but must be careful... seems it may have a tipping issue.The bad... poorly painted and the finish of the top is not great. They spot filled and failed to sand it prior to packing it. Most of it is pressed wood and the process of building it is drawn out and took me over an hour before I add the time to remove the excess filler on top. There is a large dent on the outside of a door that they paint over and other paint issues.Overall poor finish. I would return it if I had the time to dismantle, return and rebuild a different one. Unfortunately, I don't.
