Packaging was very good, well protected.I've probably used a rotary punch and straight punches for well over 45 years. Could not begin to say how many lacing holes I've made. I read all the reviews and decided to purchase this one. Very good decision. A lot of the reviews I read complained about the flat lacing punches not fitting in the chuck. They were right, But if you remove the chuck, you will find the chisels will fit perfectly, and tighten up.Have not had it long enough to comment on how long it will last. But I've tried it with the largest punch it came with thru some scrap 15 oz veg tan. No problem would recommend bolting it solid if you can. Very, very pleased with this. Shipped quick, packed very well. Will not hesitate to buy from this seller again if the need arises.P.s. used it now on four purses, punched well over 2000 holes. Have also used it to set rivets, and buckle tongue slots. Has worked perfectly each time. Even though you have to adjust the press arm height, it's still a time saver.

very good punch, easy to use, only downside is the base, the pressing arm tilts the punch if not fixedbut I'm so satisfied, I'm going to buy another one next week for my uncle

Works great except I didnt look at the throat. The tools are sharp.

This press has many flaws. No up stop is a big one so it leads to constant over tightening everytime you adjust the height. The directions and sell features shows flat spike punches being used. A flat bar will not stay secure in a round hole!! Complete untruths in advertising.

Allows you to work on leather craft without the pounding. Easily goes through everything I have wanted it to.
