Great For Newer BMW's
Plenty of music storage on this drive. Using for my 2022 bmw 230i. I tried using an older flash drive and it broke in half when I tried closing the front console lid. This one is short and not in the way. Plays all my hi res files too. Highly recommend for bmw's

It's fast -- until it isn't, at least in high-usage scenarios
Initially the drive worked great, providing nice throughput. My usage case may not be typical though: I was repeatedly writing large amount of data to the drive (using it as a raspberry pi drive, and flushing the system multiple times), and within a couple of hours of usage, the speeds dropped to next to nothing. The device was pretty hot, and perhaps it's because the little plastic enclosure it's in does not allow heat to dissipate. I immediately bought this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BPKKTGL instead, which has a larger metal body with equivalent speeds, and it's working great.So: two stars rather than one, because others may not experience my issues as long as they're using it in a low demand usage case. I think Sandisk should redesign the product to allow heat to escape.

Wont work for my needs.
I ordered this to install Ubuntu as a portable operating system. It is extremely slow and actually wouldn't work for this. Seems to be OK, but not especially fast, to copy and save files to. Would I recommend it? No, It should work as a fast storage device no matter what it's used for.Seller and manufacture should list it's limitations.

Write speed for large files is very slow.
Write speed for large files is very slow.When I copy 1 gig files to this flash drive the speed slows to almost nothing.I have samsung usb drives that are good with large files.Monty
