Works fine
Installation was not difficult, and so far it is functioning correctly. It would be a good idea for the installation instructions to give suggestions on the recommended geometry for the installation process. For example, where should pin number 1 of the knitting machine be placed with respect to the yarn guide, and on what pin is recommended to place the magnet, and be sure to align and attach the counter unit to the frame of the machine while everthing is in that orientation.

GREAT!
Works better than the one that comes on the knitting machine.

Do not buy!
Discovered after recommended product test that the counter does not count at all. The sensor magnet does not appear to be strong enough to trigger the counting mechanism. This item can not be used at all so save yourself the time of having to deal with returning. The product also does not include the recommended glue needed to apply the sensor to the machine. It also does not include recommendations nor instructions on how or where to apply the sensor.I only ordered this counter because the counter I purchased previously was out of stock - never again. The other counter purchased worked well, cane with the necessary glue, and had detailed recommendations on how and where to place the magnetic trigger.

Cool Gadget
Just recently purchased a popular brand knitting machine and the row counter wasn't working correctly and it finally stopped working all together. Which to say was very disappointing for the money spent for it. Nevertheless I found this attachable magnetic counter and it works perfectly. Easy to install and eliminates having to count in your head.GAME CHANGER

Check that counter works before attaching to machine
Purchased this for my knitting machine due to faulty row counter. Received counter and thankfully tested for functionality prior to sticking it on my machine, unfortunately the first counter they sent was non functional. Thankfully a new counter was sent out to us and after testing it we were able to attach it to my machine for use. Works great and I’m able to keep accurate track of my rows without having to count out loud, lol. I subtracted one star only because the first one I received was defective.

Works great
I have one of these mounted to each of my Sentro knitting machines. IT IS NOT FOR THE 22 PIN MACHINE THOUGH! the ledge on the 22 is way to small to fit this on it. I bought by mistake, which is my fault. I was able to make it work by stabilizing it with some air dry clay. You have to use super glue to mount the magnet to the machine, but they provide a sticky strip to mount the counter to the machine. On my other machines the only time the counter came off was when I accidentally dropped one. You are able to change the battery as well if it goes dead.

Row counter for Sentro circular machine
The first one did not work. The second one worked, but there was no placement on the rim that I could see the count. The mounting design is flat on the rim. I needed it tilted. It was very hard to attach. I won't be able to replace the battery without breaking the glue. I hope it doesn't break the counter or machine. Once I got it on, it works fine.

No Bells and Whistles, just steady counting.
Ok, so the first one of these I received was DOA. It would turn on, but the counter didn't count. Amazon quickly processed the replacement, and this one works just fine! (There are instructions in the box that tell you how to test it before you install it on your machine)It's easy to install. There's a tab of sticky stuff in the box, that you peal the backing off, and apply to the counter, and then press the counter onto your machine where you are comfortable with it. Then you put the magnetic piece on your machine by the needles. I used just a couple dabs of superglue to hold it in place (it will definitely fall out without the glue). Then, as the machine goes around, and the magnet goes past the counter, the counter increases. It doesn't matter which way it is going. If you take a break, and the counter appears to turn off, don't hit the reset button. The next time the magnet passes it, the counter will turn back on, and pick up counting where it was. If you hit the reset button to turn it back on, it WILL reset to 0.
