St. Gabriel Organics - 15 Pound Milky Spore Granular Natural Japanese Beetle Grub Control and Repellent for Lawn and Garden Care

So far so good. I have horrible issues with Moles and Japanese beetles. After a lot of research I came across Milky Spores. I have applied two application and I am seeing results. I do plan following the suggested treatment plan until I reach two years.I do recommend if you are looking for something that is sustainable and long term

This is hard to find locally so I was glad to find it here to continue with our lawn care. Instructions say to apply 6 bags over two years for 10-15 years of grub control. We applied three bags last year and just applied a fourth. I was planting flowers this week, I didn't come across a single grub so I can safely say this works.

Last fall and through the summer raccoons were destroying areas of my backyard every night looking for grubs and poisons and motion detector alarms wern't working. I had thousands of grubs in my yard that the raccoons were digging for. The adult grubs are Japanese beetles that stripped my grape vine leaves later when they transformed. I didn't know they were different stages of the same creature! The Amazon ad has several photos and one is someone pouring the product into a broadcast spreader but the instructions stress to only use a drop spreader because the product is very dusty, even the granules. I only had a Scotts broadcast spreader so I had to use eye and breathing protection and was very careful to walk slowly. It worked but a drop spreader would have been much more effective. I applied the product in early November and it's not very cold yet here in north Georgia so I hope it wasn't too late for my first application. The instructions say to apply 3 times a year for two years for most effective results.Keeping my fingers crossed I am saving my yard and my grape vines!

This bag is expensive, and I have a huge yard, but I have noticed a major difference in the amount of Beetles in my yard so far this year.

Have had HUGE issues with Japanese beetles. Already applied the milky spore for a complete year and had 20% less last year after only ONE of three treatments. This is my second year, and it is easier to buy from Amazon and have it delivered! I recommend subscribe and save so that you get it in time to apply in Spring, Summer, and Fall.This year, hopefully, I will have next to none. The two neighbors had bad Japanese beetle infestations last year while mine dropped to around 20%. I convinced them to purchase this from Amazon and use it. If you do get this, also inform your neighbors as the more lawns that do not have these grubs, the better. This is SAFE for animals and humans!

Don't get me wrong, I like the product. What I didn't like was the fact that over the past year the bag went from 20 lbs. to 15 lbs. and the price increased from about $39.50 to $45.50. That's a 25% decrease in product coupled with a 15% increase in price. That's ridiculous! I'm looking local next year to get my Milk Spore. Talk about taking advantage of consumers. This is a classic example!!!
