Wonderful if you're moth-less
This is the cat litter I'd hoped for years to find: scoopable, bio-degrading, made from agricultural waste, and even good smelling. It checked all the boxes. It doesn't even stick to our fuzzy cat's paws as much as clay litter does, and it manages odors well! We used it exclusively for about a year while we fought with its one problem: moths. They love this stuff. I am pretty sure the litter didn't bring in the moths--we already had them (from birdseed) and kept them pretty well under control with pheromone traps. They went wild with this litter and it finally reached the point where our cat wouldn't use her box anymore with all those moths fluttering around her, and I can't say I blame her.So regretfully we went back to using clay litter. If you are moth-free, this could be a special, fine litter for you, which is why the five stars. But if you have a moth problem, that population may well explode. Phooey.

Truly, The Best 😊
The name of this product says it all. After 70+ years of having cats, this truly is the best litter you can buy.The scent is light (not overpowering), and it clumps very nicely. It really is "the best."

Awesome product 👌
Awesome product. Can't beat it. I have back problems. So makes it a lot easier when I can just flush it down the toilet instead of having to pick it up take it outside and scope it out. Works great for me.

Cat Approved
For a few glorious years, this litter has been the reigning champion in our household. When my feline majesty, Kit (or perhaps the distinguished Sir Max?), experienced some…unpleasantness, suspecting the villainous chemically-laden commercial litter, I made the switch to this natural wonder. And oh, what a pawsitive change! For the last two weeks especially, tracking has been surprisingly minimal, a welcome treat as we approach litter change day. Plus, the odor control is pretty darn good – a true testament to its magic! Her royal highness hasn't had any further…ahem…issues since the initial swap. It seems Kit and Max wholeheartedly approve of this upgrade to their litter box kingdom!

No smell, no dust.
I have been using this litter for decades. I love it. Low dust, it absorbs odor and there is very little tracking. It's all natural.

10 years in use. My process.
I've been using this exact kitty litter for almost 10 years. It's been consistent in the texture and absorbability. If I need speed, I can scoop within a minute after any "deposit" has been made, whether solid or liquid and be able to flush it right away. It's infrequent but helpful. It doesn't absorb much odor in my case but maybe it does a little. That's the only thing about it I wish would be different. It does start out with a fresh, somehow wholesome odor. Not fragrant but more like a clean barn if that makes sense.Small "bits" that separate from the clump can fall through all but the finest holes or slots in scoopers. I use a metal one that has a flat edge along the front and the edge is just long enough to get under and hold those little flakes and leftovers.I have a cleaning and replenishment process that I believe extends my use of a bag. I always get all the little bits which keeps it fresher, longer. My cats like a smaller amount than recommended. I only pile up to around an inch and a half. When it gets low I can add a few cups over the top. This seems to keep a box fresher and I don't have to dump the whole thing and start over as often.I have no intention of changing brands and hope I can use this forever.

works well but dusty
my dog wants to eat the corn!!!! but works way better than clay in my opinion. way easier to scoop as it doesnt get stuck to the bottom of the litter box but still clumps. permanently switching! just gotta keep the dogs out lol

Bugs!
After nearly a year of using this litter and absolutely loving it - no smell, good value for $$, only need to change box roughly once every 2.5-3 weeks without odor, and our 1-year-old long-furred kitten has never missed an opportunity to use her box as we've expected. We raved about the product to many friends whom we know have now also switched over to using it. It's fantastic.HOWEVER, I'M SAD TO REPORT WE WON'T EVER BE BUYING IT AGAIN.I've hesitated writing this note but I really do believe you need to know. Two weeks ago this morning, I was changing and sanitizing our cat's litter box. After washing and sanitizing both the litter box and the floor, I turned my back on the box just long enough to pick up the opened bag and put it away in its assigned storage space. When I turned back to finish my task, I was stunned to see bugs burrowing their way into the tiny rug under the litter box while there were others climbing in all directions on the outside of the box. As I looked directly into the box from above, I saw bugs surfacing from the depths of the litter into plain sight and if I didn't know better it looked like there were more bugs than there was litter. The bugs were no larger and very close to the same color as the litter. So, this is why we've removed this otherwise phenomenal choice product from our routine and subscription shopping lists.
