Bosch DD510H 5" Premium Sandwich Tuckpointing Diamond Blade, Grey

I used this wheel to clean mortar out of cinderblock joints. It ripped right through the mortar about as fast as I could push it. I probably cleaned out 100 feet of joints, to a depth of about 3/4", and the blade was cutting as well when I finished as when I started.This was hard mortar, too, not like the crumbly stuff found in bricks.I have not tried a solid wheel. The sandwich blade leaves a thin piece of mortar between where the two blades cut but, by gently moving the blade sideways after the joint has been ground out, the thin piece was ground out. I suspect the two thin blades are much faster cutting than the single, thickerblade.
