It will do a lot to combat the dust explosion I get when I use my miter saw. Installation was straightforward. I have my saw mounted on a wooden bench, so I just bolted it to the bench. The light feels a little…. Gimmicky. I had to twist it so that the light was actually pointing toward my work. Out of the bag it was pointed more toward the ceiling. I hope it will stay facing the correct way. The material seems fairly stout. A concern for me is the dust connection mount. I’m concerned that the weight of my dust collection hose will, over time, pull that apart from the material off the dust shroud. So far it works well.

I use this with a Ridgid ten inch sliding miter saw it gets most of the dust it might work better with other saws I think the Ridgid throws a lot of dust.

I have a miter saw stand I mounted a piece of plywood to.So setup was very easy.I bought a power supply that activates the shopvac when I squeeze the saw.This system works very well at containing the dust.I'm installing crown molding and some trim in a house. There has been no evidence of dust accumulation in the area even after a week of chopping.The LED light is a great touch, helps a lot.It looks like a big condom but definitely worth it...!!!!
