Not worth the money even in a small space
Doesn’t cool even the smallest of spaces & the unit puts out so much heat that it makes the environment hotter vs. just using a fan.I set this unit up it in my kenworth semi bunk which is approximately 50 ft/sq and ran a 110V cord to a small generator outside on the catwalk, exhaust hot air was ducted out of one of the screened top windows, then ran the cool air vent down towards the bed & air return angled away from the hotter exhaust air up top.I started with a “pre-cool” from the trucks ac, with the inside at 72°the outside temp was 81° & cloudy so it shouldn’t have too much baking sun to combat. After 45 minutes of the truck off & just this a/c running the interior temp climbed to 89 degrees.I’m going to have to explore other options for semi sleeper cooling. This thing just doesn’t make the cut.

Works great for small rooms
I have a pc gaming rig that generates enough heat to become its own space heater (Any gamer can relate) and I really didn't feel like running my house AC to dissipate the heat. The other portable AC's you can get online (The ones you roll around) are pretty bulky. And being that my breaker is only 15 amps. That combined with my rig would occasionally trip the breaker, and especially on really hot days which is bad lol. I live in an area that's warm all year round so opening the window just doesn't cut it. I am fully aware that this thing was built for camping or for cars in mind. But it also does a pretty decent job of dissipating heat from say a gaming pc in a small room. It wont get the room ice cold like one of the big AC's. But itll keep it cool enough to keep you from sweating. Love it, just kinda wish it wasn't so pricey at the end of the day, but I understand these things are somewhat of a niche market. I recommend it!

does not cool enough when temp is over 90 and humidity is over 50%
product does not cool in humid climate and fan speed is to low, you have to be within 2 feet of the air flow to feel it. product uses alot of power for insuficenat cooling, i was using 210 watts of energy for basically just running a fan that had only cooled maybe 5 degrees from ambient temp. I had tested the item when it was 92 degrees and 80% humidity and only got 5 degrees of cool air so the air temp coming out while the unit was on max cool was around 85 degrees. unless you live in a very mild climate i would not buy this unit. this product really cannot be used in south texas or lousina it just is to humid.

Compact and Effective – Loving My New Portable AC!
Just got the NommyAir Portable Air Conditioner from Amazon, and it's been awesome so far! It's super light and easy to carry around, which is perfect for me since I sometimes need it in my office and sometimes outside when I'm chilling in my backyard. It cools down super fast. I mean, in just about an hour, it can take a room from pretty warm to comfortably cool. The size is perfect—not too bulky, and it fits nicely wherever I put it.What I really like is how it's not just for the house. I've taken it camping, and it was a lifesaver. It’s pretty quiet, too, especially on the sleep setting, so it doesn’t keep me up at night. The remote control is handy, letting me switch between modes without getting up. And I can point the air just where I want with the adjustable vent. All in all, it's a great little air conditioner that does exactly what I need it to do. Totally recommend it if you're looking for something that's easy to move around and does the job!

It's not worth it don't waste your money
It's not worth $400 for the little amount of difference that it makes. You might as well just go get a fan and a cool cloth to drape over it.

Nice portable ac
I often drive a truck on the highway and sleep in the back of the cab at night. After the previous air conditioner was broke down, I bought this one. The cab of my truck is about 50 square feet, and this is just ok to be put on the passenger seat. It only needs a small space, with low noise in the sleep mode. Left it for 30min out of the box as instructed via. This air conditioner easily operation and low on power usage. Just make sure that both hot air exhaust hose and drain pipe are directed out a window. It has a touch screen, so I can use it without reading the user manual. Also, it has such a great cooling effect that I have to tuck myself in after turning it on for only 10mins. The only drawback is that I need to fix the outlet on the window with a cardboard. That will be better if the seller can provide a cover that well fits the car window. This air conditioner is a great partner on the highway. I will recommend it to my truck driver friends.

Does not get cold
Does not cool at all. Compressor comes on but sounds weak. Believe unit may be faulty. I also wish it came with a window fitting so.now I have to find one that works. Using to circulate air until I can see why it's not getting cold.

Just know what to expect before buying
The first unit I got was defective, so I returned and got this one.On "Strong" mode, it's full fans and cooling. In a hot room, you need to be in front of the unit to feel the cool air. It's a good spot cooler, and that's about it.I may buy another one of these for power outages, short camping trips. But mainly, it's used at home for spot cooling in a hot room.I let it run for a few hours on full blast. It burned a stead 193 watts. Not bad for emergency/spot cooling. Just know what to expect. Not a strong fan, so you have to be close. It's only half the cooling capacity of the smallest window units. In a computer room, it's great when the PC starts heating up.Try it out! Expensive though.
