No regrets about buying this hard worker. I keep finding new jobs for it to do.
I bought this 6 months ago for a particular job.Let me explain. I am a farmer and last winter I had a grain silo with 15 tons of good wheat in it. This good wheat was covered in about 4 inches of rotten decaying wheat which must have absorbed moisture over the previous warm wet autumn, turning the good corn on the surface into a rotten mulch. I had to find a way to remove the decayed corn from the surface without mixing it with the good corn beneath. If I had taken a shovel up to shovel the mulch off the top, then I would have mixed the bad corn with the good and wasted even more. The only way that I could think of was to get a good vacuum cleaner to hoover it from above.I initially looked at 100 litre vacuums but then settled on this one because I decided that 80 litres of corn would be enough to carry and empty at each go. Also this machine was able to suck up water (and this has proved very useful since, when I had an underground water pipe burst and I was able to suck the water and mud from the hole before I fixed the pipe.) The machine did a brilliant job and in about 3 hours I had removed about a ton of decayed wheat and saved the remaining 15 tons beneath. I extended the pipe with about another 5 meters of flexible pipe so that it reached up the ladder and across to the other side of the grain silo. I had the occasional blockage to deal with but considering the horrible mulch which the vacuum was moving I was surprised at how well it coped.In addition to this work the vacuum has cleaned out the insides of a combine harvester of dust and weed seeds so you may be assured that cleaning a car or truck will be a doddle for such a machine. I also have cleaned a granary of around 2 tons of dust, cobwebs, and rat droppings which has built up over the last 25 years. I keep finding new jobs for the cleaner to do. There is always work for this willing horse.I certainly feel that I have tested this machine far harder than the average user will and I have no regrets about buying it.
