Apex Lenses Replacement Lenses for Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer RW4008 (53MM) Sunglasses

Great replacement lens for Meta glasses. My husband loves that they are easy to install without fear of breaking them.

I have the transition lenses. Large Ray Ban frames, so the 53mm lenses fit in perfectly. The transition lenses get really dark in direct sunlight. I couldn't ask for a better product.

There are only two companies that are on Amazon for these lenses. I bought from the other 2x, and it cost more but finally found this option. I have the Rayban Meta Wayfarer smart glasses. This time I order both to see side by side. Even the boxing and presentation were a win. It comes in a nice little case and a microfiber cleaning cloth. The other guy was only in a box with a tiny pouch. Replacing the lenses with this cut was super easy. It's a bit loose when I grip the lens and jiggle but that does not matter. That's how it gets in the frame. I felt like I practically broke the lens to pop it in for the other guys' lenses. It was always very tight. I bought the clear transition Photochromatic and it's decent. I would have bought the scratch insurance but it's not an option on Amazon so going to their site direct is now a new option.

Lenses don’t get as clear or as dark as photos in the listing show. It’s clear brown to slightly darker clear brown. This is false advertisement. Don’t buy. Included is pics of them inside versus outside.

They fit nicely but as you can see from my photo, the left lense is this Amazon “transitional” lens and it looks grey not clear indoors. On the right is the meta transitional reading lens that I absolutely dislike because of the augmentation making them feel fisheyed but it’s without a doubt less gray. Making this lens’s unusable indoors since my job requires me to identify and match colors to a T. If a little gray in the lens’s doesn’t bother you then it’s a solid buy. 5 stars because theyre inexpensive and fitted, a 2 because I have no use for them a since they’re gray and not clear when indoors

Can confirm these fit the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarers size XXL very well. These lenses are a hair wider (in all dimensions) than the stock lenses. Removing and re-installing the stock lenses is very easily. Installing the Apex's is fairly easy, as well.Removing the Apex's (to swap them out) was the most challenging part, but I got it eventually. This was my first time swapping lenses on plastic glasses, and I was able to do it without applying any heat. Given that the Apex lenses are a bit challenging to remove, you probably wouldn't want to keep swapping them on a regular basis, but once in a while should be fine.Compared to the stock lenses, these are about as clear and have maybe a bit more glare on the inside. The glare might be inherent to mirrored lenses. Overall, they work great as a replacement, especially given the limited options available from Ray-Ban.I ordered two pairs of lenses, and one pair arrived with a product defect. Getting that one refunded was very easy, even with the product being sold and shipped by Apex, not Amazon.

Even though I ordered the wrong lenses twice, Apex still worked with me to get the right ones! Sometimes you shouldn’t leave blind people alone on Amazon. Their customer service is top notch and their lenses are great quality. I’m telling everybody everywhere I can about these lenses and this company and I will continue to do so! Great products, great customer service, and a great seller! Support small business!

Lenses are always slightly tinted and never go fully clear indoors, so the indoor look is only slightly better than wearing sunglasses indoors.In comparison, my son has Ray Ban transitions and they are so much better. Clear indoors and tinted outside.
