What I expected
Great desk with functionality. Easy to assemble!

Purdy good for a MFD wood product. A bear to assemble ... but with clear illustrated instructions
I disliked that the predrilled holes for the sliding drawer were waaaaaay off and that it took me two hours to sort out the confuion of where the holes should have been drilled and then to get the drawer to function properly. I expect a $70 refund for unnecessary time spent fixing the product. The scores of pieces were well-labeled and the 30 page build instruction booklet was both well written and well illustrated. The finished product seems to be adequately sturdy but it not a desk you'll want to have sex on top of. However, I'm confident enough to put my $1K monitor on it. And there were even a few surplus fasterners should you lose a few. IKEA could take a lesson from this as that company regularly shorts customers on fasteners.

A little larger than I expected for the area, but it worked out great. I love it.

Not quality for price
After seeing many good reviews I chose this desk over others. After attempting to put together with hard to understand directions, the drawers would not fit on sliders. Took apart again and put back together. Drawers still do not work and this was a key feature I needed. Very dissatisfied with purchase. Obviously not going to tear the whole thing apart to return, now have to deal with no drawers and purchase an additional filing cabinet.

Arrived without all of the hardware.
UPDATE: the company sent replacement parts and there are STILL missing pieces. This has been a horrible experience.Product arrived missing all of the hardware to put it together.

Check all parts first
Laid out complete package and checked all parts. Everything was there. Followed the instructions to the letter and it went together just fine. It will take two people at times, and had no problems like some a the reviews said they had. Definitely would recommend this desk.
