Does this product replace fabric softener or should it be mixed with it? I ask as the directions are not clear
Is this instead of normal softener? It says add to softener drawer but doesn’t say it softens
Is this product necessary? Presumably if it was then it would have to be added to all wash detergents. ?

I’ve been using Dettol Lavender Laundry Sanitiser for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed with how well it works. The 4x1.5L pack is excellent value, and it lasts a long time, especially as you only need a small amount per load. I like this product as my sense of smell is limited. However I get a slight fresh smell from all my laundry and I find I no longer need fabric softener in the wash now as everything feels softer and there is no static which is good as I dry such a lot in the tumble dryer. Also cutting out the need to buy softener so I don’t mind paying a little extra for this as it serves two purposes.I would certainly recommend!

Kills bacteria
Never wash my clothes without using this sanitiser gives me the peace of mind that bacteria is killed. Been waiting a while to try the lavender scent it’s not a strong scent but smells lovely all the same. Highly recommend using the Dettol for peace of mind clothes are super clean.

Works Brillantly
Hi,This product is a game changer, I especially use it for towels and underwear, it leavestowels smelling really fresh and leaves then feeling soft. It also deodorizes the washing machineso you no longer have that weird smell after washing after a few hours.This maybe where I live but the water quality is terrible but this Dettol product changes all that.It strong powerful and worth the money, also it goes a long way 1 capful in the softener compartment and away you go. Give it a try you wont be dissappointed.

Ideal for Towels, children's clothes, underwear, socks, bedding ...and more When you wash at temperatures below 60°C, bacteria can survive, and can be transmitted between garments in the wash. Just add it to your normal washing routine after adding your detergent. How to Use To kill 99.9% bacteria: Add 2 capfuls to the fabric softener drawer of your washing machine Soaking: add 1 cap to 2.5L of water at 20°C for 10 minutes: Soaking: add 1 cap to 2.5L of water and leave to soak for 15 mins
