Finally writing this review after sticking two mullet with it. It screws together tight. It's good and straight. Slips through the hand when released nice and clean. It came with two tri point heads and a single point. They arrived sharp. It maintains a nice zero buoyancy. I've got no complaints.

The pole itself is good quality and works well for beginners as well as experienced fishermen. The supplied rubber band is of light rubber and doesn’t propel the spear as quick as needed. I replaced rubber sling quick with another thicker more resistant band for much better performance. The 12” single flopper tip needed some modifications. I shortened the initial tip to 1” past the flopper with a grinding wheel and sharpened the new point. I also cut the flopper down to about 1.5”. This has enhanced the performance with much less penetration required to ensure a catch.The lionfish and paralyzer tips work unmodified.To note: use single flopper tip for any fish, three prong tips don’t hold fish of 1lb or more.I also modified the pole spear and installed a grip for better holding capability by wrapping thin cord around shaft and heating up shrink tube around that cord. This helped to ease hand fatigue while waiting for the right shot when spear was loaded.The diameter of the pole threads for additional tips is an oddball size in regards to spearfishing equipment. You’ll need to find an adapter to accommodate the more standard 6mm female threaded tips.With some modifications and forethought, this setup is excellent choice for occasional spear fishermen or first timers.Left one star off as modifications are needed. Without them, this setup isn’t as effective.
