Durable and fun
The media could not be loaded. Very easy to control little robot that’s super durable and ever so cute. You will need to provide two AAA batteries for the remote control, and a small screw driver was provided for this. It’s via the screw at the bottom of the coloured bar. Unscrew that and it pulls down. The controller synced up perfectly well, and with a small swich on the back next to the charging port on the robot it springs to life. There is a button that lets you record a quick sound clip, and it speeds up and pushes the pitch up of the voice and it sounds really funny to hear things being played back like this. Sadly there doesn’t seem to be a button on the remote control to make it do that. Instead it’s got a demo button that does a bit of a sing and dance while yelling it’s own phrases. Seems like a missed opportunity. The robot works fine on tiles, wood and carpet. The robot has large two wheel with smaller ones to help keep it up right and seems to do a good job of moving it about. It’s not super fast like some RC remote control devices so for a younger child it should be more than capable. It only turns when it’s not going forward though, something that helps its easier controls as it generally slows things down a little more. That being said, do not test this on a table. It will shoot off the end if you press one of the (demo) buttons.

A surprisingly decent little robot
The pink robot is a very cute design and our little one was eager to try it out.The plastic feels a bit flimsy to the touch, however all the moulding are well rounded with no sharp edges anywhere so I am reasonably happy with the quality of its materials. It's also a good size and does look adorable when its eyes are lit up. Our little one really likes the way it looks as well. The LED eyes can light up in different ways depending on how you set it on the remote control. It dances and spins (as well as you'd expect from a little robot) though we found it works better on flatter surfaces like laminate, otherwise it just gets jammed in place. The robot also records your voice and repeats it back to you which the girls found hillarious. The remote control is small enough for little hands and was easy for them to control. It also comes with a USB C cable to recharge the robot which is appreciated, although the remote controls do require batteries. through the mains, but you do need 3 AAA batteries.Despite my initial reaction that this toy felt quite low quality, it did end up being a favourite of hers and she's had a lot of fun with it. It's easy to use, has some fun sounds and lights, moves in fun ways and can be charged via USB C. So, this ended being a great toy in the end and I am happy with it.

Great quality, engaging robot toy.
I recently got the KaeKid robot toy for my kids, and it has been a huge hit! This remote-controlled robot is not only adorable, but also packed with fun features. The LED lights are vibrant, making it visually captivating, and the robot can sing and dance, which my children absolutely love. The record and repeat function is a unique touch that keeps them engaged, as they enjoy recording their voices and hearing it back. It's also rechargeable, which is super convenient. My kids, aged 4 and 6, are entertained for hours, and it encourages imaginative play. Overall, this is a fantastic gift for any child aged 3 to 8—highly recommended for endless fun!

Fun for smaller children
The good thing is the robot plugs into a usb-c to recharge, you only need a couple of AAA's for the controller. It plays 3 tunes and you can record a message and the robot will say it. The controls are easy - but the buttons aren't marked, one is demo, one for changing the eye colour one to change the music or turn it off and the last one to switch form music to the message you recorded. The head and arms move but only so you can pose them, they do not move when the robot does. Its a fun toy for a younger child

Smooth moving robot
The robot toy is quite fun, and appealing to younger kids especially. The robot has a button the the back which can record short messages by holding the button in, and then plays they if the button has a short press. The remote can control the movement of the robot, and the directional controls work very well. The robot can rotate and turn left and right on the spot, making moving the robot easier for small kids. The remote also had 4 unlabelled buttons in the centre. First one changes the robots eye color, The second is the 'demo', where the robot moves about itself in different directions. The third button is a bit of a mystery to me and I haven't figured out what it does. The manual says it Music/Voice Switch, but I don't see any effect to any element of music or sounds, however the robot does beep when the button is pressed and it interrupts any tune currently playing. The 4th button plays music and it rotates round 3 tunes one at a time when pressed. The row of buttons could really do with labels or some symbols on them.
