Very disappointing - brand new out of box and it does not work.
I researched this headlamp for quite some time before committing given it is one of the more expensive on the market. It arrived and I was very impressed with it out of the box - charged the battery and on the first time to power up......nothing. Absolutely nothing. I tried using the extension cord - nothing. I received a dud....and the worst part is the extremely poor support I received from Silva which has really turned me off their products. I will be returning this to Amazon. They appear to be a high caliber company, the product is solid, but luck of the draw and mine doesn't work. What was disappointing is the complete lack of customer service/support - I was trying to get support from the UK given these products are not supported in Australia yet. Silva needs to pick up their support game.
