JUNK
Complete waste of TIME and money. This will not connect to the WiFi at all. I'm really disappointed with this equipment. The instructions aren't very clear on how to operate this kit they don't tell you which button is which. The ppil internet connection very rarely pops up when searching but never let's you connect. Tried the trouble shooting instructions and still gey nothing. SAVE YOUR MONEY, YOUR TIME AND THE MENTAL TORTURE

I didn't like it because it didn't come with an external battery and it says it came with a 400 mha battery. so I was deceived

Sounds good on paper, not great when actually using it. Requires a 2.4GHz wifi network.
I was quite excited to test this - having a very small low-powered device that I could hook to a power bank and just leave at my window to watch my garden and/or car at night at a fraction of the price of known-brand cameras seemed like a cool idea. The description sounded good, so I went ahead and got it.After following the instructions and downloading the app, pairing with the phone was quite straight forward - you'll need a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network in order for the camera to connect to your Wi-Fi. 5GHz and above will not work. Fortunately my router handles both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, and I have a bunch of 2.4GHz extenders/repeaters that can also do the job.Once connected, the app picks up the camera after a few seconds. The camera does boot up very fast, and can be connected to the app around 5 seconds after giving it power which is nice. Probably the only good thing about it.The App's user interface isn't really the best, and the translations are quite wonky - you get the following buttons:Video - records a video in avi formatPhoto - supposed to take a photo, but appears to record video"old to talk" - no idea what this does, I assume "hold to talk", but I couldn't hear anything out of the camera speakers when shouting down my phone whilst holding itAudio - I think this switches on the mic on the camera - this just crashes the app for meLamp - This turns on and off the small LED on the cameraAt the top of the app, you get settings, mirror and flip image, "IR" mode on and off, and selecting between 720p and 1080p.The camera itself uses Micro USB and can be powered by anything from your PC to a power bank - I used a 30,000 mAh power bank just fine, and on standby/motion detection, it went through roughly 10% in 1.5hrs. You'll want it connected to a wall plug for extended usage. As you can see from the screenshot (as it only records videos), the image quality is OK for day.For night, it's useless - not sure if the unit I have is faulty, but I enabled IR mode in the dark, and the image was still as dark as normal mode. I even plugged in an IR light that I use with my Meta Quest 2 at night (which makes the room like it's in the middle of the day) and the picture was still completely dark and just about picked up the light when aimed directly at the IR light. Seems like it is just black and white mode to me.The video recordings are mediocre - you get 640x480 resolution at 12 frames per second which is like old Nokia phone quality from the early 2000's. There's no image stabilisation so just the slightest bit of movement near the camera may result in wobbly videos. Wind can affect it if this is placed outside. So to sum it up;Pros:- Is useable within a few seconds of turning on- Motion detection works fine- Very small so can be tucked away somewhere- Usable during the day- Easy to set upCons:- Only supports up to 32GB Micro SD- Stores videos at only 640x480 resolution, audio at 8Khz. Where's the 1080p?- IR mode does not work, useless at night even with a IR light active- App isn't really that stable, some functions cause it to crash, and some parts need better translation- Requires a 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network- "Push to talk" doesn't work- Can only record videos, cannot produce still imagesI really wanted to like this, it's a shame. I'll give it two stars just because it's small and is OK during the day.
