My monitor can support up to 240Hz but while I wasn't expecting this from the M4 Pro chip, it can drive 8K at 120Hz just fine, and as a bonus macOS Sequoia is even showing variable refresh rate (from 48Hz to 120Hz) so I get sharp text and smooth window management/page scrolling while having power efficiency that VRR offers.Nothing further to add, but if any of the above components become faulty I will be sure to come back and update this review.Regards,NotAnonymousReview

This USB-C to DisplayPort arrived in a branded cardboard box neatly presented with a plastic dust cap over the USB-C and DisplayPort ends. The cable is designed to connect between a USB-C port on a device such as a laptop or phone and into a DisplayPort connection point on a screen. The cable is 2 metres in length which is more than adequate for my needs.It is a simple plug and play cable and works well with my partner’s MacBook Pro (iOS), my ThinkPad (Windows) and my iPad, connecting seamlessly to a 4K screen. It can support 16K video @ 30Hz, 8K video @ 120Hz and both 4K / 2K video @ 240Hz which makes it a great cable for future proofing and is ideal for gamers who need a high refresh rate with a stable connection. It supports daisy chaining and can also be used in clamshell, mirror and extended modes which is very useful.The cable itself feels very durable with its nylon braided finish (which is unlikely to tangle and is tested to withstand over 16000 bends) and also has a good amount of flexibility with strain relief on the cable joins to protect the connections. It has sturdy aluminium housing for the DisplayPort end and the USB-C end connection doesn’t have any seams – a definite sign of a good quality cable. The overall build quality is excellent and the fit of the connections into the ports is good without being too tight or loose.The cable feels like it should have a very good lifespan and does feel premium. Priced at £22.99 (with an additional £2 off voucher valid until the 31st March 2024) at the time of reviewing, this is a good quality cable that serves its purpose well. It connects easily and without any issues like flickering and is especially useful for my partner’s MacBook Pro to connect his laptop to his screen. I think the price is good for the quality, and having tested quite a few UGREEN products their quality and longevity has impressed me, so I would be happy to recommend this cable.
