Great resource for PA school, EORs and the PANCE! (Recently passed the PANCE and was so happy to have this guide close by when studying!!)

This is so helpful! I have been using it during didactic year to help refresh my memory on topics and make sure I understand the big picture and important details. I can only imagine it’ll be helpful during rotations and the PANCE.

This book is an indispensable tool for students preparing for clinical rotations, the PANCE, and the PANRE. This guide simplifies complex topics and presents them in a clear, accessible format that makes studying efficient and effective. It's an excellent quick-reference resource for clinical practice, while also serving as a structured study aid for exams. Educators will also find it valuable for teaching foundational concepts, making it a versatile resource for both students and instructors alike.

the format is a little difficult

The media could not be loaded. I wish I had this book when I was in school. First off I'm a visual learner. So it's fantastic that they included graphic in this book. Second, although it's in bullet form. It's straight to the point and gives you what you need to know. Folks if your looking for a book to use in practice this it. I hope they come out with a pocket size book but this is definitely a book to add to your collection. I ordered the behavioral version as well which I will be reviewing when recieved.

I am a first semester didactic student and was looking for something to help me get another pass of the information. I was spending hours writing and rewriting notes. My professor recommended I get a book to help my studying and I saw First Line Guide being advertised on Instagram. I waited until the new version came out and I'm obsessed! Everything is so clear and organized, which is super helpful. It helps me get another pass of the information from someone different than my professors, and gives me the information in a different way. I've had two tests so far that I've used the book before and it really helped and saved me time in studying! I would HIGHLY recommend any PA student getting this book! I cannot wait to keep using it!!

It is a good book, but not as detailed as Pance Prep Pearls and cost more than both books together of pance prep pearls. Probably because it's a hard copy.

I really love and appreciate how the guide is all in one book and isn’t split into two. It makes it easy to bring onto rotations. I also appreciate that high yield information is bolded. The pediatrics addendum is one of my favorite parts because the mnemonics are super useful for memorizing the developmental milestones and it breaks down the vaccines as well as the well visit, which is going to be huge for my peds rotation. Along with the great information for didactic/clinical/PANCE, it also has great information on how to get involved in your profession on another level (ex. AAPA). I think this is super empowering and a wonderful tool to have for those who may not have been aware of the ways to get involved before. This book is great to hold onto, even after graduation.
