Crush the ball!!
This club I purchased for a buddy, I’ve been playing the hybrids but i think I made a mistake because i got him a mix of deals on here gen5 & 6 driver, 3 wood and 5 wood fairway woods. He picked them up and we went to the range and he was DESTROYING THE BALL right out of the gate!! I have never seen him come close to getting such distance, his old woods were a disgrace but after seeing these getting the results i kind of regretted it because he is gonna be killing me on long par 4 and 5’s. I have him around the green and my pxg wedge 100-110 out is my only savior now.Btw the deals were for just a couple days & incredible prices…Next time ill buy em and try em first.

PXG 5 wood
61 y/o 15 hdc. Just what I needed in my bag. Forgiving yet plenty of "pop". It's a 215-220 club for me.

senior golfer take
My question was for golf woods which is better 3, 5, or 7 wood for a senior golfer who does not play muchFor a senior golfer who doesn't play much, choosing the right golf club can significantly impact their game. Here's a breakdown of the advantages of each wood:3 Wood:Typically the lowest lofted wood and has the longest shaft among the three.Offers the longest distance off the tee.Requires a bit more swing speed and skill to hit consistently due to its lower loft.5 Wood:Offers a balance between distance and loft.Easier to hit off the fairway and rough compared to the 3 wood.Provides good distance off the tee and is more forgiving than the 3 wood.7 Wood:Has the highest loft among the three woods.Provides the most height and stopping power on approach shots.Easiest to hit for those with slower swing speeds or less consistent ball-striking.For a senior golfer who doesn't play much, the 7 wood might be the best option. Its higher loft makes it easier to get the ball airborne and it's more forgiving on mishits. However, if the senior golfer is still capable of generating decent clubhead speed and wants more distance off the tee, the 5 wood could be a good compromise. It's essential for the golfer to try out different clubs and see which one feels the most comfortable and yields the best results for their game.I already had some 3 and 7 so going to try the 5. Going with PXG know for quality but affordable I knew I could not go wrong.
