Really good product
Really good product, easy to install and works very well.My only slight grumble is it did overlap my usb wire connecter as I was using the bottom PCIE slotYou could argue this isn’t the entire problem with the product and could equally be held against the motherboard

Works as described
As described.. I'm running a gen 4 nvme in it and it does bench at correct speeds. Comes with 2 thermal pads 1 for each side.. wasn't sure of the stability of the caddy in the slot but it seems fineJust be careful to research your pci e layout to ensure u don't drop the pci16 down to an 8 or even worse 4

Cheap and it works
Basically plug and play, just install the SSD, then slot this into the computer and it works. Only annoying thing is the status LEDs that flash

At last found one that works
After trying numerous PCIe Adaptors due to already using my 3 m.2 slots on the motherboard I am happy to say this works a treat.Firstly the internal thermal padding should not be pre-applied so users can use an NVME drive with a heatsink already attached like my WDSN850X, You could rip it out and the drive should then fit but its then a waste. I had to go to the trouble of cloning my none heatsink WD850X which was a multi-boot drive onto the heatsink version. Once I had completed that task my WDSN850X went in nicely, nice thick thermal pad not sure if its touching the NVME drive or not but looked like it would have when closing the enclosure.Popped into my 2nd 16x slot and booted up.Speed tests were good, 6.5k read and 5.5k write, 8.5gb file copied from another NVME Drive in 10 seconds, not perfect full speed as from NVME slot but still very good and 1000 better than the last adaptor I used that only gave me 170 read speed.Looks good build quality and more importantly it works at almost top speed of the drive added, may mess around in bios and the pcie lanes to see if I can improve the speeds.Price was good too very reasonable.1st image is my boot WDSN850X HS on the motherboard m.2 slot2nd image is my WDSN850X none HS in this adaptor, very close speeds.

Bling light surprise!
Just what I needed to install a spare and VME drive into my new set up. A noticeable blue actually three blue LED lights on the heat sink which looked pretty. :)
