Used to secure posts on back porch/deck. Easy to install. It goes perfectly with what we were going for. Very sturdy. Owners before had random brackets and very wobbly. We had to take the front railing down for some time since it became a hazard. NOT ANYMORE.

I bought these for my work bench. Because my wife wanted it to look my pretty lol. They do look good easy to install. Just don't forget to put them on before you screw your project together. They are metal and one peace. They are much better than those wood or plastic types.

My lumber was almost exactly 3 9/16" and square. It did not fit right off. I got out a palm sander and shaved off a bit so they would fit. I'm giving it four stars because they look good and are doing the job. But I wish I knew what I was getting into when I got them.The screws and anchors for attaching the base to concrete were no use to me - I bought real concrete screws. (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D9ZTYK6Q).The screws for attaching the base to the wood are smaller than I would have liked to use, and smaller than the holes they fit in. This makes it a little more difficult to set the posts up vertically without tilt left/right/forward/backward. So I had to tweak things in the end and the tweaks stressed the wood and the pilot holes I'd drilled. I still have a tiny bit of wobble and I imagine I will eliminate the wobble by replacing one or more of those screws with larger-diameter screws. Anyway in my case I'm happy with the result but the process was more complicated than I expected.
