Brilliant - Sharp, brightest colours that print spectacularly well! Highly recommended
I design and hand print fine bone china mugs on a mug press - this paper is by far the best I've used with my sublimation printer. The colours are so bright and sharp, I've used different papers in the past and they're nowhere near as good and not as good value as this paper! Cannot recommend highly enough for use with a sublimation printer for mug printing. Excellent!

Reasonable value and printing quality
Simple enough to use, absorb sub-ink well, and press nicely for vibrant prints. As with all sublimation paper, looks a little muted on the paper but comes to life once pressed. A reasonably priced value choice costing 6.29p per sheet, they're not the cheapest option.

Pre-cut to the ideal size for standard mug blanks, no issues with the cheap generic inks I use
This paper from A-SUB arrived packed into a suitably sized and a nice looking branded cardboard box with the stack of paper protected with a clear plastic pouch inside that. The entire stack of paper is cut to the exact advertised dimensions with no defects or blemishes across any of them. The corners are perfectly square, and they have been picked up and fed reliably into my Epson ET machine converted for sublimation printing. With this being a budget brand aimed at hobbyists it seems there are no ICC profiles, so invested enthusiasts or professionals who care about every little detail may not appreciate that. Even without the profiles and generic inks (also lacking ICC info) I printed what I consider to be acceptable results with good colour reproduction. The fact is that most of our projects aren’t that exacting and the people we make these mugs or other items for aren’t going to care or even notice that the colour is technically off. I do admit it would be nice if the ICC info was included but with so many different machines, inks and papers out there it’s not practical to expect them to be available. If you’re particularly interested in just sublimating standard sized mugs these do cut out a bit of the faff of having to buy larger sheets and cut them to size, potentially leaving you with a bunch of wastage and scraps that aren’t suitable for your needs. Of course nothing is stopping you from cutting these down further for even smaller items but in that case you’d better off going with a stack of full sized A4 sheets from A-SUB or another trusted brand as you’d be getting much more for your money.Ultimately the sheets take the ink well, and I just used my standard heat and press time’s I use with most papers and everything worked as expected. Of course, I've only really had this paper for a few weeks, so I can't tell how well the transfer will hold up long term. For now all signs are pointing to this being as good as any other paper I've tried, and my test mugs are holding up well. The current price of £6.99 for a pack of 100 is fairly good value for money but of course you would get a lot more paper for your money if you bought the uncut standard A4 sheets from the same brand.Happy to recommend.

Great for mugs!
Another great addition from a-sub. This paper is ideal for sublimating mugs. It’s the perfect size and cuts out the hassle of having to cut out and size for mugs. Prints well and ink transfer is brilliant. Wouldn’t use another brand.

Good quality brand and good size for mugs.
A-SUB Sublimation Paper for Size 120gsm is good quality paper. I do love that it is cut to mug size.So OK I have to confess I do not have a sublimation Mug Press (YET). I ordered this on Vine because I intend to get one very soon. What I didn’t realise is that you need a sublimation printer, I thought I had one, but it is not recommended to put sublimation ink into my type of printer once you have used it with normal ink. So, this Paper is definitely for specialist equipment. Which I knew. However, you can use this paper with Sublimation Ink Pens for use with the Cricut Cutting Machine & the Brother Scan N Cut, along with a heat press machine onto fabrics.Obviously this Paper is cut to size for Mugs which I will be trying when I get my machine but in the meantime you can use it with a Proper Heat Press for fabrics, without having a sublimation printer or Mug Press.I will come back at a later date and video my first attempt using this paper, Sublimation Ink Pens through my Scan-N-Cut, or Cricut Machine and putting it into a Mug press. This is a specialised paper for a specialised hobby. I know that having the paper cut to Mug Size is a great idea and makes this whole system a lot easier. The A-Sub is one of the top players in sublimation papers. So watch this space, I think I will do a YouTube Journey on sublimation starting with this Paper and my New Mug Press , so I will add a video to this write up later - It might be at Xmas Time.

Useful and great at removing admin
When using a heat press to print designs onto mugs, there's a LOT of admin.First, there's the creation of the design. That's a lot of fun. Then there's the printing of the design, which is a little less exciting but pretty painless. Then you need to trim the paper down to mug size. Which takes a couple of passes to pull off correctly. And often it leads to a fair amount of thin slivers of paper on your craft surface. Then you need to use heat tape to affix it to the mug, then you need to trim and adhere the three layers of butchers paper to insulate the sublimation paper from the lining of the mug press. There are a lot of steps. And they can be a bit, well, boring. This sublimation, sized perfectly for the job in hand, takes at least one chunk of nonsense off your plate and kicks it into touch. It doesn't get rid of all the boring stuff, but it does streamline the process. Oh, and the colours on this paper seem true and vibrant. Recommended.Happy non-boring mug creation process, everyone!
