myQ Smart Garage Door Video Keypad Wired Power Adapter Kit-Works with Chamberlain, LiftMaster and Craftsman openers, White

Designed for attaching magnetically under the Garage Door Opener with view of the Garage Door entryway, but one can secure a small magnetic piece of metal to back garage wall and get the same security observation with a wider view of your entire garage space. We use it in combination with our Chamberlain exterior Video Keypad, which shows anyone approaching the garage door, with the ability to open the garage door (IF they have the Code), then this garage security camera shows them inside the garage. This is useful with the Amazon or other delivery service to see them make delivery and then insure they close your garage door, or you can open/close it for a neighbor wanting to borrow a tool (and watch them enter take the tool and then you can close the door when they leave. You can never be too safe or cautious. I recommend it.

So the myQ video keypad is a great idea but without this power supply worthless I bought a third party adapter first also worthless, but this one made by myQ is perfect works easy to install and with a few modifications to the original mount it can still be used. I had actually removed put my myQ video keypad because of the poor battery performance and third party power supplies - this device made me put it back up and it works great -

Got my attention when I saw this key pad camera for my garage door on Amazon, bought it and now I just love it, also I bought the angle adapter with the electric transformer so I don’t have to depend on the battery power, highly recommend it!

Not a huge fan of Liftmaster's MyQ software and features. But this piece of hardware works.Just like another reviewer the adjustable bracket is nice but also leaves the wire pretty exposed. Granted, if you have someone cut your keypad wire you have more severe issues. But still not great. At least a white rubber tube or something would be nice to have here.May follow the other person's adjust and use the original angled bracket. The swivel mount does permit for a view of the full driveway which is nice.The wire is also long enough to run along the garage door frame with the sensor wires. That's a win.Only makes sense to get this. The battery esp. In the winter is a tough sell.

Bought this to prevent constant battery charging. Two intersecting drill holes was the hardest part of install but easy enough with proper measuring and level use. Plenty of wire to reach ceiling outlet. Allows for uninterrupted camera/keypad usage.

Clear straight forward instructions. Easy to install and works great with the product. Turns the unit into wired mode so you don’t have to worry about batteries.

Exactly what’s needed for the MyQ Video Keypad. Rechargeable battery was just a hassle. With this it’s always powered on. Install was relatively easy. I chose to keep the old non-swivel mounting bracket as it seemed more secure and protruded less. Made a few modifications for the wire. Highly recommended, but not sure why the price jumped so much on this. I purchased when it was just released for less than thirty five, but now it’s over fifty! Was hoping to add another for second garage door.

Was easy to install and the power wire was long enough to reach my ceiling mounted electrical outlet.
