Since this is battery powered, the weights and chains don't actually move down (only mechanical clocks do that), but that's totally ok with me because this clock looks so good and authentic. When the cuckoo pops out and goes back in, a little jingle plays, but I'm not sure if you can turn it off or not. The instructions made it look like there was a second control panel, but maybe that's the same panel but using different modes. Anyway, awesome little clock and has been keeping time really well.

My cuckoo clock is wonderful. It’s good condition looks fantastic. It doesn’t have a cheap look to it. Come on time packaged well Ron’s perfect had no problem putting it together. The quality the sound is wonderful. It’s loud. It has an on off button if you don’t choose to listen to the noise, it has little nursery rhymes. It’s it’s a great and the value for me is wonderful. I would pay that again.

It was a nice clock but it wasn't quite what I wanted. I wanted a clock that would actually cuckoo through the night. This one had an auto shut off.

The media could not be loaded. We like the vintage outlook while it has a modern movement for low maintenance. The wood parts are solid high quality though the bird is plastic. It plays music every hour. You can turn off all sound off with the switch on the side, but you can’t turn off the music while keeping the coo coo working. Someone said the music is annoying, but I feel ok as it’s hang in my living room. The time showing is still pretty precise after 2 weeks.

The clock out of the box would cuckoo, but would not keep time. I assume the clock was not wired up as it should be. I pulled the c cell battery holder off, and put a aa in the clock part and the things works as expected. The cuckoo amount does not match the time, but it works and it makes me happy.

For those who likes antique things, this is perfect. Kinda reminds me of back to my childhood, where my grandma had them on my wall. Very good quality and perfect fitted my mom’s cabin.

Very traditional design of cuckoo outlook. Wood carving looks delicate and clean. Needed to adjust the chains for the cuckoo sound. Definitely a lot of value compare to the ones sold in German stores. Timing so far has been accurate for a month, fingers crossed.
