Excellent product! Setup was super easy and hassle-free. The bass is deep and powerful, delivering an amazing sound experience. The wireless subwoofer works flawlessly and keeps the space neat without messy cables. Very impressed with the service too — the local Sony service center was extremely prompt and booked an appointment on the same day of delivery. Overall, very satisfied!

If you are looking for an excellent and enjoyable sound experience then I would suggest don’t buy sound bars at all. No doubt this is an excellent product from Sony. BUT it really depends on the input this equipment is receiving.I mostly watch TV DTH channels also OTT movies and shows - the usual stuff to do with a TV. Each Channel/OTT app sounds different with the same sound setting. This issue might not sound much in this review but practically this a major annoyance. Western foreign channels sound very balanced with clear voice. In Indian channels, even though this sound bar has a dedicated center channel for voice, the voice is still very low.I would recommend to buy a AV receiver/ amplifier and decent quality speakers if you really want an enjoyable experience. Yes an AV receiver and speakers will cost at least twice the price of this sound bar but then buying a sound bar will leave you unsatisfied and longing for the sound quality that you wish for.

Im writing this review two weeks after using the soundbar. First of all big thanks to Amazon for the prompt delivery and in perfect condition. I received call for installation from Sony the very next day after delivery.The sound quality is what I expected, and the subwoofer delivering its floor shattering punch is superb. Now re-watching the movies and songs with soundbar is as good as watching in theatre.The only downside is missing upward firing speaker s to simulate overhead sounds.In short, I’m happy with the purchase.

I am writing this review after using this Sound bar for 12 days and exploring various play options. My review is from a music lover perspective and not with any technical expertise. I have a Sony Home Theatre for many years so have experienced True Surround sound.Burst the bubble first!!! this sound bar does not have up-firing speakers nor do they have side vents to increase the spatial experience.Now the actual sound quality and Atmos experience. This is a great 400W system and the quality of depth of sound is amazing. The Bass is great and has independent sub woofer volume control. Once you get over the expectation of hearing sound effects over and behind, you will start to enjoy some variable depth (close and distant) of sounds because the bar has 3 front facing speakers that are adequately spaced out in the unit.If you have the resources to go for the atmos up firing speakers then skip this. If you are looking to stretch your budget without selling a kidney then this is for you!! I think this unit is a shade over priced for the features it offers. Guess you pay premium for the eARC feature!Now the installation: Since this is a plug and play system, it was easy to set up and did not require the technician. Anyway the person called and I got him to come for a demo. I was completely shocked to see an unprofessional young person turn up at my door with a single objective to sell a Optical cable that he had (I anyway bought it!!) and collect the installation & service coupons. I am completely disappointed to see a brand like Sony to have such pathetic service personnel!!!!
