This bottle of Carefree is way too pricey for just only 8 oz!!! I bought a larger bottle a couple of weeks ago it was 16 oz it was only 40 $

This product is the same as itever was and it has been around for decades because its just plain perfect for natural hair.So why am l rating it average? PRICE. For decades it was reasonably priced at about $8 for a 16 ounce bottle. Recently the price went to $30+ dollars for 8 ounces. This happened all at once not incrementally over time.I read that as pure unadulterated GREED. I cannot continue to use this product at the new prices although l have been loyal for 40 years.

Products did activate my curls like it was supposed to. The product is good why was it discontinued.
