I bought these because, I'm told, my hearing is starting to go. And I don't ever want a multi-$1000 device. This audio hearing device is much more sensitive than I expected. Blew me away. Just what I wanted. Easy to operate once the manual has been read carefully. Only problem was that the buds are a little hard to take out of the charger. But not too hard. Also the sound is a little tinny as other reviews have noted, but I don't know how those expensive devices sound. I'll definitely use these for amplification.BUT, the bluetooth. Wow! Paired immediately and excellent sound. The more I listen, the more I'm impressed.Getting both functionalities in cool looking buds was well worth the price.

I bought these because my family got tired of hearing me say "what?", "Huh?", "repeat"....so far so good...I just need to be able to adjust the volume to the environment. They remind me of Ipods, the look, the feel...and it has several ear canal sizes that will fit just about everyone. I recommend that you at least check them out.

I’m a senior who is starting to have hearing issues. I got these thinking they would be helpful, and I liked the Bluetooth aspect so I could also use them to talk on the phone by just switching modes.First I will say they are pretty comfortable. They didn’t fall out of my ears.As a hearing aid though, they had minimal benefit. Everything WAS louder, but in a very tinny, echo-y, unpleasant way. And lots of things were really loud that I didn’t want loud, like my own voice, and everyone’s footsteps, and papers rustling. I tried wearing them around the house and then out and about, with both but also with just one.At home, these might be good for sitting and watching TV if you could get past the tinny sound. But out and about they just did not work. Everything was so loud that I couldn’t tell when someone was talking to me. And no volume adjustment helped. In addition, the right one had a constant low-level buzzing, like a mosquito was nearby, that was noticeable when the environment was quiet.But ok, since they were comfortable I thought maybe I would at least use them as Bluetooth headphones. Took them on a trial run on a phone call with a friend, who didn’t know that I had new headphones, while I was taking a walk. She immediately complained that she couldn’t hear me. “What? I missed that. You sound so muffled.” She never complains when I’m using my cheap Walmart Bluetooth headphones.So that was the clincher. Back to Amazon they go.Of note, it might be helpful for people considering these to know that all switching from earphone to hearing aid and volume adjusting is done by finger tapping on the ear pieces themselves. There is no app.

I was hoping this would be a great hearing aid, but it is not. I can hear MYSELF talk really well. Others, not so much. It has an echo for the sound quality. It also squeels a lot. It is easy to set up. The battery life is good and it is comfortable.
