Great product... you have to try which level works for your project but after that you can get the job done fast. Helped a lot with hand cramping specially with large jobs. The battery last a while and comes with handy additional pieces.

Caulk gun puts out a nice even amount of caulk on a very consistent basis. Speed settings go from definitely low enough to, wow, definitely too fast. In fact, I think the highest speed settings over-draw the battery and cause it to shut down -- I was simply curious how fast it could go, and it's far faster than I can imagine being able to apply an even bead.Biggest downside of this gun is that you probably don't have a compatible battery system -- which is definitely a nuisance. On the upside, the price point is a strong selling point compared to some of the bigger name brands where the gun without a battery costs more than this gun with two batteries and a charger.Small 12v batteries keep the weight down while still providing an adequate charge length. I'm an average handy homeowner and do the occasional larger project where this is a nice to have, somewhat of a splurge purchase item. Would probably make for a good Dad gift (as long as Dad isn't particular about his battery systems).

As I'm getting older and falling apart, I don't have the strength and stamina I used to. Particularly in my right hand after a car accident earlier this year that sprained some ligaments. It's taking forever to heal and is still pretty painful when I grip anything with force or just over-exert it. I've had to get used to removing tight bottle/jar caps with my left hand, for example.Enter this cordless caulking gun to the rescue. I have a whole host of Dewalt 20V power tools, but I just don't caulk often enough to justify the expense of the Dewalt tool. Then again I needed to do some caulking recently and ran across this one. With the promotion going on right now, this one is much more affordable for light duty use. I wish it used Dewalt batteries like some of the other cheaper import tools do, but you can't have everthing I guess. The batteries it uses are the 3-cell type common to Milwaulkee M12 tools (however they are NOT interchangeable nor compatible with M12 chargers). These use a simple DC barrel plug to charge from the included charging brick. Cheap, simple, but effective enough. Again, no more often than I'm prone to use it, it's fine.So far, I'm enjoying it. It lays down caulk at a pretty peppy speed, which can take some getting used to. It also has a neat little auto retraction feature that helps keep the caulk from oozing after releasing the trigger. Isn't perfect but it helps some. It includes a bonus caulk removal/bead finish tool with different sized silicone radius tips for finishing work, which was a nice touch.

Lo compré especialmente para no hacer cochinero como la descripción del producto lo dice pero al usarlo hace desperdicio y no para de salir aunque lo uses en la velocidad más baja, no funciona pensé que por ser un producto caro sería de calidad pero me decepcionó. Mi consejo por mi experiencia: no lo compres.

I can start laying down caulk and dispense one long, continuous bead that looks amazing. With a manual caulking gun, you always have blobs or thin areas every time the trigger is reset and pulled.
