Since I started using it, I feel more at ease knowing I can effectively monitor water quality. I recommend this kit 100%! It’s definitely worth it.

These test strips are good for telling you about chlorine levels, PH and cyuronic acid but they are completely wrong about total alkalinity. I added a bunch of baking soda to my pool because these test low on total alkalinity. When I got a different test kit it showed that my alkalinity levels were far too high which made sense with a constantly rising PH. So don’t trust these for that. Otherwise they’re good and easy to use.

These water testing strips works as stated by the company. It’s good to know what’s in your water.

We use this when we are camping

While it works as promised, the hardness scale tops out at 425 ppm or about 27 grains per gallon. My well water was off-scale high for this kit.Note that water softeners like from AO Smith can handle up to 110 grains per gallon.This means that I still don't know if a water softener is a feasible proposition for us. I'll have to buy another test kit with a larger range.Likewise the sodium chloride was off-scale high even though the water by no means tastes salty.I would suggest that the product listing offer the applicable ranges for the tests one is considering.
