Works great! Has to be emptied every other day so get the bigger size if you don’t want to do it that often! I love that it has something to rip the bags on inside the door. It’s so easy and convenient

The media could not be loaded. It's great! I had first the dekor plus (which is alot bigger then this mini) in the restroom but my husband always complained how big and annoying it was inside the bathroom so I decided to buy this mini version and see how it worked out. It's much smaller (which is great, just what I wanted) my toddlers stand next to it and it's at their hip. About the little lock don't think it'll do much if you have smart little toddlers because my youngest (2 years) opens and closes it like nothing, so that's not very important for us. For me it was if it held up 6 diapers size 6 and guess what? It surely does! Alot of people here commenting on how small it is and how they don't think it'll hold bigger then size 1 diapers, well I can assure you it surely does, both my toddlers are potty day trained and only use night time diapers size 6 both and those diapers I was able to put into this pail without any issues, it hold 6 super full, size 6 (12 hrs use) [I only put the urine only overnight diapers]. I also put a couple of used toilet papers in it as well (we have a bidet so barely use 🧻 toilet paper). As for the smell it didn't smell at all when it's closed as it comes (it also came ready to use out of the box, with it's bag already set inside🙂), the smell only escaped when the little lid was opened to place the diapers in or anything else you needed to throw away. I have uploaded a picture of a bag full in 3 days (remember my toddlers only use the diapers at night).As for the dekor plus, I had stopped using the bags that are sold for this type of diaper pail and just would buy the super thing cheap Walmart 8 gallon bags and those fit nicely but definitely wouldn't recommend them for dirty diaper use because the smell will for sure escape into the room it's in, so for dirty diapers I would highly recommend to bag the bags that are suggested for this diaper pail (or buy the generic version) but if you want to use the diaper pail as just a trash can then you can buy the regular store trash 8 gallon bags since it won't stink as much as dirty diaper (also depends on what type of trash you place in it of course). I ended up placing my dekor plus in my kitchen and it didn't stink at all but I also don't put things that I know will smell in the long run.To end I highly recommend this mini pail for bathroom use. I purchase some time ago as a pail for pet waste outside my apartment door (which is outdoors). Works great. It does not stand out as a tasteless waste pail and looks complicated enough to detract abusers from taking advantage of it. It is pretty simple to use. Especially when you first get it, it seems complicated, but its all ready to go within a minute. It practically comes ready to use. Just follow directions. It holds smells decently. Hot days require more frequent changing, cold days are a breeze, but I still try to change about every 3 to 5 days. My dog is a little over 20 pounds. I have it anchored against a wall using a small wire around it.There is a blade for cutting the bag and it has been safe to work with.It does not feel germy, I feel quite comfortable using it on a daily basis. Pulling out the waste bag even seems to be quite a clean process, but I still use gloves and wash hands. The pail is easy to clean inside and out. It is not completely touch free. Under the flip up top, you do need to gently press down on the lid to drop in trash. I recommend making it a standard that only your finger is used against the lid and not the trash itself, to maintain cleanliness.I have purchased refills and discovered that the 'delivered and ready to go' product is much better than getting refills. The refill bags I purchased are not as great, not as fresh scented, and a little less functional. The bag catches the lock and the door traps sometimes depending on how well you put it in. But still not bad.Note to the wise...**This product is small, if I were a little-people mom, I would only use this for newborn diapers.**I use tied up dog waste bags prior to tossing pet waste in, so this helps contain the odor.**I highly doubt the I would every use this for pet or little-people waste inside my home unless I am changing the bag out daily.For my purposes, I am satisfied 😌

Great diaper pail, however the hinge on the door is poorly made of plastic not metal. Broke the first time my husband got frustrated changing the bag and now the door comes off entirely every time we empty it.

First it doesn’t hold as many diapers as it says but we don’t use it for every diaper just the number twos so it works for 2 days before needing emptying. Emptying is frustrating only until you open the door. I don’t know why but it is a struggle to get the door open. The fact you cut the bag each time means little waste as you can empty 1 diaper or 5 and make the bag the appropriate length. Now it is top heavy without diapers in it so you need to put some weight in the bottom so it doesn’t tip over easily when putting the first diaper in. Last small inconvenience is the hole on top is fairly small so for bigger diaper blowouts it may not go in easily. Also when it gets a little full you have to shake it for the trap door to close. These are all minor things and pros are, it’s not big and overwhelming in the room, the price isn’t bad for the product, as long as the trap door is closed it doesn’t let the smell out. But if you want to use it for every diaper every day or don’t plan on emptying it daily, go with a bigger unit with a larger trap door. Since so many small issues I had to give it a 3 but I also am still using it saying that.
