Follow the instructions and it will be the color listed
I followed the instructions exactly and was a bit worried when it first dried. You can see from the picture the fabric on the left that has more of a pink tint was before the final wash and the fabric on the right that is more true to the color is after the final wash. My fabric was white before dying it. I would say the color is a light version of the color listed on the bottle which is exactly the color I was looking for. I did wash it with some old towels just in case it bled but I am quite happy with it now that the dye has settled. Making a arcane cosplay for my neice and she already loves it.

Not The Color Match I Hoped For
First of all, there's so many versions of tan, I don't know which "tan" to get to match my carpet I'm trying to fix from bleach drops. I put too little, doesn't cover it enough, I put too much it's a totally different color. I don't know what I can't get the light tan that my carpet is.The packaging is terrible. Can they make it any harder to read?

Works Perfectly if you know what you're doing
I needed the dye to age the appearance of a white Lace Jabot into a classic ivory colour, to go for the more Authentic Portrait look. Always have a test piece ready! And remember that you have to use little amounts because white picks up any color quite effortlessly. I only used 2 drops of dye in the pot of water for the first test piece to come out offwhite, I added just a couple more Drops for a deeper hue but the second test piece turned straight up tan so I had to dump water and add more fresh water to dilute the potency of the dye. After only about a 30 second dip into the simmering water, the 3rd test piece was Perfectly Ivory!! I followed the same time with the actual Jabot And Cuffs, rinsed with cold water and I Couldn't be Happier with the results!

Sandstone is not tan, major pink/red tones
I purchased “Sandstone” synthetic fiber dye to correct some accidental bleach drips on my tan carpet. The dye has red tones I can’t see in liquid form, but the bleach repair attempts look PINK. I neutralized the bleach before attempting to dye, as prep.
