Toilet seat for downstairs toilet, very straight forward to install and fits well.

Decent quality for price. Easy to fit. Doesn't fit quite flush to the pan but is acceptable.

We have found over the year any of the seats for the Alto Standard, whether genuine or alternatives tend to crack and break across the seat (clearly a design flaw). We have used these as a replacement over the last couple of changes, and have found they last longer than the originals. Noticed with this purchase the plastic ring seal that sits on the seat was a lot harder so we stuck with the previous fitting.

The design however is very weak. Part of the seat between the hinges and the bowl is airborne with no underneath support and find they crack very easily

as a replacement it fitted perfectly,I liked the fact that it had four under seat pads to support the seat,my orignal only had two which made it prone to crack.Time will tell but Im very pleased with the quality and price

Guessing if like us you are looking at this specific product as you’ve got an ideal standard alto toilet then most likely you are needing a replacement as there’s become a crack half way round the seat….between the front and back rubber padsIdeal standard should rebrand as sub standard, either their toilet design is flawed or the toilet seats weren’t measured correctly as we moved into a new build a couple years ago and have 3 of these toilets, all 3 have started to crack.We bought this toilet seat to replace the completely damaged one and can’t say other than them being half price of the branded one they are any better. Huge design flaw that the back seat pads aren’t deep enough, so even with the hinge screwed to it’s lowest setting the back pads don’t touch the toilet pan so I’m expecting the same failure down the line.
