Fantastic fun, quiet bearing, soothing
I can get stressed at times just like everyone else, and I find that fiddling around with fidget spinners gives me an outlet for my nervous energy and helps me focus. Once I figured out that they actually help me and aren’t just a funny toy that ends up forgotten in my desk drawer, I began to collect them, and have learned what aspects of a spinner make me happiest, and what makes me regard one as a “good” spinner, and this one ticks all of my boxes.Right out of the package this spinner had a very smooth and quiet bearing. Box one: check! I have been spinning it quite a bit and it hasn’t gotten gritty feeling or noisy when it spins yet, and spins for at least three to four minutes depending on the spin I give it. I’m not concerned about timing each spin and trying to beat records and have a spinner that spins for eight minutes. I am only concerned about it spinning freely, quietly, and smoothly. For my second box to be checked, I like my spinners to be made with premium-feeling materials and to have a more mature appearance (as mature as a fidget spinner can aspire to be!). Those lightweight plasticy ones with the sh177y bearings and LED lights are not my cup of tea. Not throwing shade, just telling it like it is. Aluminum is OK, if a little light weight , if it is machined right, stainless, brass, and any heavy metal base is more my style. This spinner has heft, is supposedly stainless (feels nice and heavy like stainless) but is covered with what looks like an anodized coating - hard to do on stainless, but it can be done - giving it a gorgeous deep red transparent coating that lets the stainless shine through. This spinner has a smooth cap for the bearing that is very comfortable to grip, and hasn’t come loose since I tightened it when I first unboxed the spinner. For the life of me I absolutely cannot understand the people who review fidget spinners and go to great lengths to b17ch and moan about their center bearing cap coming loose and falling off and blaming it on the manufacturer. First of all, it screws right back together. It isn’t broken. Suck it up buttercup. Second of all, if your cap becomes loose and starts to unscrew, can’t you tell it’s loose before the whole damned thing falls off in your hands? Tighten that puppy back up BEFORE it falls off, and you stand a FAR better chance of not losing it when it comes off altogether. If it keeps coming loose, put a little dab of thread locker on the threads the next time you have to put it back together. Jeez. All of that said, this spinner’s center cap hasn’t come loose on its own since I tightened it when I first got it. YMMVThis spinner doesn’t have bearings in the three lobes that surround the center, but there are shiny silver colored solid metal inserts there instead that feel heavier than the bearings I’ve received in other fidget spinners that I have collected over the years. The added mass of these inserts is supposed to help this spinner spin longer, and I have no reason to doubt it works based on how easily this spinner out-spins several of my other ones.To wind down this insanely long review of an eight dollar fidget spinner, I can say that it is one of my dailies right now and I am enjoying it very much, and would recommend it to anyone wanting a solid, hefty, well-made spinner. Not much of a gamble at eight bucks. If you like fidget spinners or know someone who does, this is an excellent one to add to any collection. It doesn’t feel, look, or sound cheap and holds its own next to my spinners that cost five times the price, if only it’s of a bit simpler design.

Quality
High quality, recorded an 8:33 spin time (min:sec). Good weight, great spin, will follow up on any wear and tear.

Wear and tear <
It was great for the first 2 weeks except for it being a little noisy. Still used it beside the fact but ran into more issues later. It then kept on coming apart from the middle. I’m now on week 4 or 5 of owning it and it is totally broken. Overall grade = good device but need better mechanics with how it spins over time.

Excellent for the Price
This is probably the best fidget spinner you can get for the price. I got the black one with the tritium glow rings and recommend you do the same. It looks really cool spinning while they glow. They glow brighter using a blacklight but it does come with a small led flashlight. It spins great and for a long time. There is a tiny bit of wobble but that is expected for a $12 fidget spinner. Also some people mentioned the middle piece is plastic but in these they are thin metal not plastic. If you notice any extreme wobble you just need to tighten the middle piece. I also found it works better in 1 way than the other. So if you take apart ever to clean the bearing and notice big wobble after putting it back together just switch the middle piece around. Some people mentioned hearing some noise while spinning. That means the bearing is dirty and you should take it out and clean it. Mine is perfectly slient. If you don't know how to clean bearings just search for cleaning a yoyo bearing. Its the same thing.Overall would recommend.

5 minute plus spinner
Use this to help deal with pain. It easily spins 5 plus minutes with very little noise. This helps me focus. Black y one is 3 minutes and glows.

Revised Review - DO NOT BUY!!! It's no longer made correctly.
The media could not be loaded. I bought two of these back in December 2018 and both were perfect. Both of them were given away to office co-workers as x-mas gifts. In March 2019 I decided to buy another one for myself, and after I wrote the review below, I found that it had a serious problem. And lets just say the original review applies to the two from 2018 only. The two finger pieces started to fall apart after a week or so, and eventually would not screw back together. After comparing the pieces to the older spinner, I found out what happened. If you look at the picture with the silver and blue pieces, you’ll notice that the older blue piece has a milled-out sleeve that inserts into the barring. And the newer silver piece is missing this milled-out section, causing it to sit on the barring instead of inside it. This also causes the piece to not insert all the way in the other half, and the threads barley make contact. And other time, they become damaged. I returned the silver one and exchanged it for a rose gold one. This too has the same defect. So, I’ll be retuning that one too.Original review - This thing is superb for the price point. And that being said, it’s not perfect, but it’s the best I’ll probably ever find. Realistically, I’d give this spinner a 4.7 out of 5. I’ve bought three of these as gifts, plus many other spinners from other sellers as well. And the Atesson’s were the best of the bunch. But If I may nit pick for a moment, all three Atesson’s had the same “minor” issues, IMO. I wouldn’t say they were scratched, but the brass weights have some blemishes. With a little bit of effort, I may be able to polish them out. As for the bearing, it’s very smooth. I can get spin times over 7 minutes. But as your holding it in your fingers, you can still feel the occasional bump or grind, but only slightly. Don’t let this put you off from buying one. Looking at just price point, it’s a total 5/5. But I’ll forever be looking for that spinner that’s 💯 perfectly smooth. And yes, I’d pay more for it. If anyone knows a spinner smoother than this one, please comment. I’d be curious to take a look.
