It is smaller than my last one but it makes ice twice as fast as my last one. Not only is the ice quality excellent, but the machine is so quiet and so easy to operate. The icing on the cake is the Smart App that notifies you when the ice basket is full and also when you need to add water. I purchased some Igloo ice bags and as the ice basket fills, I dump the ice in the bag and store the ice in the freezer.

I purchased some Igloo ice bags and as the ice basket fills, I dump the ice in the bag and store the ice in the freezer.Just a note, when I set up this machine, I was getting an “add water” alert although the tank was full. I read that the water line can have an air pocket which would affect the sensor. I turned off the ice machine and gently tilted it back and forth. I restarted the machine and I have not received that alert again until I really did need to add water.

Great ice balls. Cons: it’s not a fast ice maker.

I bought this because my girlfriend and I like to do some drinking on the weekends. We live in an apartment and the refrigerator doesn't have a built-in ice machine. It works great. It makes a batch of cubes every 8 minutes or so. By the time we fill our cups and finish our drinks, there is another batch of ice ready for our next drinks. The directions say not to use distilled water so we buy spring water to use in it. It isn't noisy. It makes good tasting ice with the spring water. You just fill it up and let it make ice. There is a light that comes on when the water is low. I do wish it would give some kind of beep or noise along with the light as a better warning for low water. We can usually get 3 drinks each worth of ice before we have to fill it so we just go off of that rather than the warning light. That is my only complaint. A+!

That’s a great ice maker. Just fill with water and select your ice size preference. Easy as that. Seat it about an hour before you need a batch of ice and you’re good to go. The ice compartment isn’t cold enough to keep the ice, so it just melts back down and remakes. But if you’re using the ice, no harm there. It will beep saying it’s full, so you just have to adjust the pile of ice and it will clear and continue. Very happy with it so far. You can also connect it to the Govee app and control it from there, but I don’t really use that feature much.

On my 2nd replacement unit. Both died after a little over 1 month..Not great at all.Not going for a 3rd unit, terrible quality

tons of ice in less than 62-68 seconds! I have been searching for an ice maker like this for years!! It's just amazing, makes great cubes that last!! It can keep up with me! I'm an ice tea fanatic!! Great product, way above the rest!
