This doesn't hurt but it sure made me cry! It doesn't take much to make it work- a great tool if you work in film or act on a stage. Works as described and discreet. It's the size of a lip balm.

Didn't really work for me. I rubbed it under my eyes like it said, but didn't seem to make me tear up or feel anything. I think if my eyes were more sensitive this would probably work. This is the same size as lipstick and smells like menthol. Good quality product.

This is a somewhat esoteric item but if you need it, you need it. You have here one tear stick. It is like a lipstick tube except you are applying menthol oil. Placed in the correct amount under your eye, you can irritate just the correct amount but not too much and produce tears. This can take some experimentation if you are not used to this, as overshooting and undershooting are disappointing in their own ways.

I ordered this to film sketches with. I thought it'd be fun to use a tear stick but this one works too well I think. It feels like vicks rub and smells like mint. The first time I used this, I put a small amount under one eye. I could feel it working and my eyes would get a little irritated but I didn't cry. subsequent uses I would use more of the tear stick and it just burns like vaporub and it was hard to keep my eyes open. I think the burn is too strong to use for acting as you'll constantly try to rub your eyes with this.

Experiment to find the right amount for you. The first time I did a little dab under my right eye and it wasn't enough. Then I tried two big swipes under my right eye, and that was too much. More burning than tearing up. But after about a minute my left eye was getting nice tears from application under my right eye.I can see how the right amount with the right acting would give great tears.

This tear stick works really well when you need quick, believable tears for film or photoshoots. It activates fast with body heat, and just a small swipe under the eyes is enough to create a convincing tearful effect. The menthol is strong but manageable, as long as you don’t get it too close to your actual eyes.That said, for some reason I thought it was makeup that looked like tears wwhen I got it, but quickly learned it makes you cry haha.

This will definitely have you tearing up, however it smells strongly of “icy hot”
