How long can you leave this out of its container?

Its air dry but doesnt go to fast, gets more difficult tonwork with as it breaks easily the longer you leave it

What do you add to colour it? Or do you paint it after it has dried?

Think my daughter used food colouring or powder pigment. Painting after would work well also though.

Does this air dry white and smooth? Would like to make some Christmas decorations - or is this best used for slime? Thanks!

yes it does dry very white & smooth. I use it for modelling & it works really well.

I dont understand where is the slime activator??

I personally don't use a activater for my slime so instead I just add shaving foam and white PVA glue to a small amount of clay. This receipy doesn't make it sticky and it last for about 2 weeks and even after that time it just goes hard not sticky.
