Phenomenal End to the Duology!
I hardly ever like a second book better than the first, but this was phenomenal! In One Dark Window, I expressed how I felt like I personally wanted a little more spice to add. I didn’t feel it lacking for this book, even though it was still very PG. Elm is a top tier book boyfriend and I like him even more than Ravyn. This world building was so immersive and still held up for the duration of the duology, even with the new locations. And the storytelling where we learn more about the Nightmare and what led him to that path was creative genius!I loved this story and am certain I’ll be chasing this high for a while!

Twisted? Maybe. Satisfying? Yes.
Finished it because I had to, not because I was obsessed. Like when you start a show and it's fine, but you’ve come too far to quit now. That was me-committed & slightly annoyed.BUT--The ending did fit the story. It wrapped things up in a way that made sense and gave closure, even if it didn’t blow my mind. Definitely worth it to complete the duology.

More please!
LOVED this book and the characters!!! This duo has the kind of story you just keep imagining as a movie… It has SO much potential! (Hello, Hollywood?!!)I loved the spooky undertones and all of the riddles and rhymes.. The characters all were interwoven in such a great way.Im not a crier- but the ending had me shedding tears!!!!Not a lot of spice- Id give it 1 🌶️ .. But the love stories were heart wrenching!I would absolutely love someone to come up with the deck of cards for customers to purchase! Honestly, honestly, I’m surprised that no companies have yet!Looking forward to her upcoming book this summer! Pre-order if you haven’t!

This is the perfect sequel.
Two Twisted Crowns is a dark atmospheric sequel that stays full of tension, action, and magic. Two Twisted Crowns is tense and visceral. It's everything you want in a sequel and ending. In Two Twisted Crowns The Nightmare, inhabiting Elspeths body, journeys through the woods in search of the Twin Alders card in an effort to unite the deck. While Ravyn and Jespyr accompany him Elm and Ione are left behind to pursue Iones missing maiden card and deal with Hauth.I was completely riveted by this book. There wasn't a thing about it I would change. Characters are intriguing and multi-faceted, I was on the edge of my seat for it all: the romance, the action, the violence, the characters, and the story itself. The dialogue between Taxus and Elspeth add a lot to this book and make for interesting and memorable exchanges. Taxus and Elspeth have a fascinating father-daughter relationship that you'll feel fully invested. I also felt very keen to see how the relationship with Elm and Ione would develop, especially in a castle fraught with peril. If you enjoyed the first one you will absolutely love this sequel. It does not disappoint.

so good!!
5/5⭐️2/5🌶️book 2 of this duology did not take the path that i expected it to take, however i was so impressed with the story that unfolded. obviously i loved ravyn and elspeth, but i also loved that this book told more of an overarching story rather than just the story between those two characters. i loved elm and ione and their own little story that unfolded. i loved getting to see more of the nightmare and his history. i loved the plot twists and how the story really kept me on the edge of my seat. honestly, everything about this duology was so masterfully done and i honestly think this is so deserving of the hype. definitely some of my top reads of the year!“i’ll love you for a hundred years—and an eternity after.”

Words Cannot Explain How Much I loved This Book
It has been such a long time since I have loved and been consumed by a story and it's characters as much as I have been by One Dark Window and Two Twisted Crowns. My only wish is that there was more. I am not ready for this to be over. I want more of the characters. More of Ravyn and Elsperh. More Ione and Elm. More Jespyr, Emory, Petyr and the amazing Yew family, more Nightmare and his family, the spirit of the wood, then crows, well as all the other characters. Even when I was not reading, these books consumed my thoughts. These are books that are going to stick with me forever. They have moved to the top of my all time favorite books

TEARS (bittersweet)
I know a series is a good one when I don’t want it to end, when I don’t want to say goodbye. This was one of them. I’d never thought in a million years that a duology would get me like this one did, when longer series have generally been the ones to do it; but it did. This is my first ever book review, after over 100 books. It’s left me in tears 🥲. I love when a series makes me *✨feel✨* something. I hope that says something to you. Do yourself a favor and savor this series, it’s worth the ride! 🐎
