12 meals for $170? Is this a joke? Or is it 12 boxes of 12?

Your sarcasm and anger is justified. Some people say we don't live in a country but rather a large capitalist corporation. Remember those times when people were trying to well bottle of lysol for 1000% margin? Companies like ebay or amazon didn't care because some fees go by sale price. Finally when people complained, they shut a few people down but it's a drop in a bucket. Anyways for 170 bucks you can probably buy few hundred pounds of rice

So I just purchased this recently for about $35 cheaper than it currently is, why is the price fluctuating so much?

I just got the same 14 in a box for 30 . They are out there at the right price if you want to hunt them down

Where can I get the ingredients for each meal? I am lactose intolerant and would like to buy only dairy-free mres.

I would guess googling which mre meals are lactose’s free. They’re meal numbers 1-24, 1-12 being case A 13-24 case B. Some items change time to time depending on what they choose as the meals for that year. Like a couple years ago they added a pizza mre that is new. But every item in an mre has a complete ingredients list. So even if the mre isn’t completely lactose free you can separate items with it and without it in each meal.

Those are close to 3 years old.... Were they properly stored - or left to sit is a warehouse.. Those are "iffy" ....I want to know storage history..

As far as my listings personally, they are all issued to military personnel same year as sold. None of mine have a lower inspection date than 2022/11 and are kept inside an air conditioned building. But Amazon created a new policy that requires QR codes to verify these which I’ve never seen on an actual military issued box of MREs, and won’t allow me to list them under the 2022/2023 listings.
