I hace four of these all work well, except one which died after two years, oh well

We use this with our generator, it does the job and we are satisfied with it.

This is the one, if you charge motorcycle size batteries always use one like this that put out less than 2 amps. I ruined a lot of small batteries in the past with a 2 amp output charger that was suppose to be specifically for small size battery.

The charger does a good job, but many have complained about the wires breaking off the clamps. So, the first thing I did when it arrived was to do a fix to prevent the breakage before I used the charger. As you can see from photo “A” when you pull the insulators off the wire side of the clamp the manufacturer didn’t use the four strain relief tabs that are meant to support the wires. So, I gently made a loop in the wire while supporting the solder joint, then bent two of the tabs over the loop. Leave the other two tabs straight up to hold the insulator in place once you push it back on to the clamp. Picture “A” shows the black clamp done and the red clamp the way it comes from the supplier. Picture “B” shows both clamps finished. Just remember to only bend two tabs per clamp or else there won’t be anything to hold the insulator in place. I hope this fix helps everyone who buys this charger.

I purchased this product to keep my portable generator charged up. Prior to purchasing this product I always had to keep the battery on the generator charged and on two different occations I failed to keep it charged and had a really hard time getting my generator going again. I purchased this product, installed it and have never had an issue with the battery starting my generator up. If you want a Trickle charger....this is it.

This charger helped save me the cost of a new battery for my V8 car. I left the trunk partially open and the trunk light ran the battery to zero, now interior lights, nothing. If your battery gets that low this will actually probably not work as the instructions say, but I'm not sure as I only left it on a couple of days, it will read an error if the battery is totally dead. To remedy this state I had to jump the car using an external jump source. Booster cables from my 4 cylinder would not crank the V8 but if I had a bigger car with a larger battery that would work. I bought a portable jump starter and luckily that got it started and I was able to charge the battery enough from the car to let this charger to take over. 3 days later it showed the battery fully charged. I saved time and money thanks to this charger. For the price its a no brainer to have around the garage.

Plugged it into my battery on my Slingshot and it charged like it should and showed the LED indicators like it should. I would recommend.I do wish the instructions would be a little clearer on the LED indicators but I watched someone on YouTube that explained it very well.
